If you're referring to post #11 in that thread, they seemed to be doing more than giving an opinion - the poster was asking Martin to change part of the site.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

They gave an opinion - to shame them when they said so sincerely doesn't seem nice.
Not trying to "shame" anyone.I was trying to see if anyone else was offended. If they someone believes what they wrote in a post then they have nothing to be ashamed about. Can I not quote someone whose point I disagree with???

This is terrible - to be changed without notification. Whatever next? Don't us moneysavers have any rights? We need to rebel!
Convert sounds so religious!

I object to geek, and I have sent a complaint to the site webmaster saying so. I suggest that anyone else who feels the same should do so too.0 -

can I just clarify my view? I don't have a problem with the fact that some people may find things offensive but I do have a problem with them making sweeping generalisations on behalf of the people who have the only right to be annoyed or who know what it's really like to be discriminated against.
I could be a great advocate for the PC brigade if I wanted. I'm disabled, I don't have a career anymore, I've suffered depression and to top it all I'm a blonde Irish woman.:D Unless someone attacked me or my family personally there is little that you could say to offend me about these things.(please don't feel that you have to try though.) I probably extract more urine from these issues than most.
It just really frightens me to think where this would all end and to think that in a couple of years, once all the words in common usage which may possibly be deemed offensive have been removed, the Oxford English dictionary will be a small pamphlet.
