Adult sharing bed with non-relative teen

So my mother in-law is a bit strange. I won't go into details, but she is different.
Anyway, she has gone on a short trip with her 13 year-old daughter and her daughter's 14 year old female friend, until Saturday.
The daughter was told she would be sharing a hotel room with the friend, and this is what the friend and the friend's parents agreed to.
They arrive at the hotel to discover that my MIL has booked 1-room with 1-bed.
Essentially a 50 year old woman is going to be sharing a small bedroom and bed with her daughter and the friend until Saturday.
This is weird right? If you were the parents of the friend wouldn't you be furious?
It's not just me is it?

All three in the same bed?0

They are at least all female but they're going to be hellishly cramped.
I suspect that the girls themselves will demonstrate their disdain in graphic, teenage fashion. I can already hear the huge sighs of "what? There? Gross..."0 -

No it's not just you. I certainly would NOT have MY 13 year old daughter sharing a bed with a 50 y.o. woman and her 14 y.o. daughter. !!!!!!? How did she manage to make such an 'error?'
If the hotel has no other room (like a family room) then cancel it FGS.
We have been on a few trips with friends of my daughters, and we have ALWAYS booked 2 rooms; one for me and my hubby, and one for our daughter and her friends. Neither me and my OH *or* our daughter's friends would have wanted to share with someone who is not close family.Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!
You're not singing anymore........ You're not singing any-more!0 -

This was no error.
I believe this was always the plan and she lied to the parents. I should say she hardly knows the parents and I expect them to be confused when they find out.0 -

Ok it may be odd, but what do you think MIL is actually going to do? If you consider she's a risk then you need to do something about it. If you don't consider it a risk then why are you getting involved. Vague comments about MIL being odd are a bit meaningless in this context.
As the friend I'd be unhappy about it, but as the friend I'd also be phoning my parents to talk it over with them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

why would she lie?0 -
Is she odd in that you think she would do this because it's cheaper, and wouldn't see why it was a problem, or odd in that you think the girls are at risk of abuse from her?
If the latter, it's your duty to take action to protect the girls.
You don't say how you know?
Has your sister in law contacted your partner from the holiday destination, and are they still there? Are the girls distressed?
If you have serious concerns, could you travel there and assess the situation yourself, or at least speak to MIL on the phone?
In the event MIL is unwise but innocent, you could point out the impropriety of the situation and encourage your MIL to make other arrangements.
Alternatively, if you think there's something more serious going on, you should inform the other child's parents without delay, and seek help from social services in respect of your SIL.

If it really was an error, i can't see a problem with it. The girls will probably have a giggle about it. I know mine would.
If it wasn't an error and i was the other girls mum i would be asking why she booked what she did but really, it's still not a huge issue. I don't think it's weird and i wouldn't be furious.0
