Thanks for this tip. Our glass shower screen is just never clean. I dont know why. Im going to try your idea and report back.

"Limelite" or similar products are designed to be sprayed on, so very easy to use and great at clearing limescale. I think I have Mr T's own brand at present. Makes taps lovely and sparkly.

Morning all - Great Aunty's funeral today so flying on hold :(

Can't remember who asked about the ratties but one is grey / silver and one is a golden siamese - both have a white blaze on their nose. Photos will be taken when I can get them to stay still enough!!!

It was me and they sound lovely. Look forward to photos.

Well in true sloth style I have spent the last 2 days mainly watching the olympics. Other activities have included:
    - keeping up with washing clothes and dishes
    - went to Pilates on Monday and gym yesterday
    - have pulled up spent broad bean and pea plants to make room for the poor cramped leek seedlings to be planted out tomorrow
    - just about kept up with watering greenhouse and filling bird feeders
    - making progress sorting paperwork for tax return
    - did 3 hrs work with a student today. Had a bit of a fit on the way to uni as the car gave a jolt and the engine warning light came on. After frantic phone calls to Mr N, I drove slowly to uni and when I came out, the light was back to normal i.e. off. Got home and rang to cancel emergency car appointment for tomorrow as we decided it was probably a bit of gunge in the fuel which set off the warning light and upset the computer. Phew don't want any more car expense.

Um, I don't think I have done a lot else. My general slothdom and the olympics has been added to by a new FB group being set up by a friend I originally 'met' on one of the Newsgroups from about 15 yrs ago. It has been fun hearing from all those 'oldies' but very time consuming......

Got out final details through for Sept holiday.....it's a biggie in a land with lots of lemurs. Nearly as cute as sloths. So lots more organising I need to do.

I like the anteater whirling the hammer, and the armadillo weight-lifter...but have you seen the Paralympic trailer? Those athletes are unbelievable. And totally awesome.

:j Yay to our men's synchro diving team, shooting chap, canoe champion and gymnastics guy...watched all of these and now have no fingernails left. I'm sure we've also done well elsewhere, but after I cleaned the caravan kitchen this morning, Small and I made fairy cakes _pale_ and the flour and icing sugar took an age to clear up, so just caught a few highlights after dinner.

Great that you booked your hols. I remember you talking about them We've finally committed to our week back in Bonaire in November. Boy will we need it by then. Hester I don't know how you do it. 0545 wake ups are killing me. My body clock hasn't worked it out yet.

Had to laugh about friends. I was feeling good after my interview so used LinkedIn to find a friend I haven't spoken to in 5yrs. She's now married to a woman. I was slightly confused when she told me this as she'd just invited me to her 10th wedding anniversary. Apparently her husband is now her wife. My friend is taking it in her stride, more so than his/her parents. The party could be interesting

    Have a great day everyone.

Since I am not the proud owner of a conservatory, or utility, or porch, or breakfast room I will do my bedroom.
I *may* be going out later. Making social arrangements is difficult when I am on "standby".
Hope you all have a lovely day.
