    Welcome liamsmum.
Glad to hear that your sister is responding well to the ABs,Valli.

I decluttered 1/2 lb at SW this morning - just 7 lb to go to reach my target of a 5 stone loss.
This afternoon I have decluttered an hour's sleep, as my foot was painful again but I didn't want to take extra medication (I'm driving to the restaurant this evening).

The gas/elec password problem was resolved easily by a very helpful young man, and I have cleaned the bathroom sink plug and overflow.

I need to sort my college paperwork before I cook DH's meal and get ready to go out. Need to get my skates on!

    Hi everyone

We've had a super day out although it did cost a few quid. But a good time was had by all :)

Just having a simple tea and I think I might hit the caffeine - my eyes are trying to close haha.

I'll sort the downstairs loo shortly and I'll do upstairs while the kiddies have baths.

Early night for us I think!!!

Laundry up to date! Just got DD to hang out the jeans/hoodies & non-TD stuff, and I'll fling what I can in the TD at 9pm if they're still not dry.

Bank statements from 14th April 2000 until 1st April 2009 scanned & ready to shred! That's 305 A5 pages...now I can start on the A4 page stuff when I get back from work.

However before I leave for work I need to shower and find the stuff I'm supposed to be taking with me... considering I'm supposed to start work at 6pm this is not good *run off*

Bathroom all done, but I can't take credit for it my DD did it.. we have a points system for pocket money, they earn points throughout the month by helping / being nice et and at the end of the month they can exchange it for pocket money... she's happily having a soak in the tub in her sparkling bathroom!

Wednesday's list is up. My kitchen needs cleaning and it's about time I did out my cutlery drawer so there you go.

I am also *almost* up to date with the ironing.

Thank you one and all for the wonderful warm welcome. It really has given me the boost I needed to make a start on clearing this chaos. :)

Bathrooms today, thanks Valli. My top tip for flyladies who live in hard water areas and have let things go a little is to clean the shower doors with a little limescale removing toilet cleaner! Lemon juice or vinegar would of course be much more environmentally friendly but both 'thickness' of the toilet cleaner and its harsh colouring make it far easier to apply and see where you've scrubbed. Use gloves, apply a sparse amount quickly and rinse well. Don't be tempted to leave it to soak. It is very caustic and could cause damage to other surfaces and your skin.

I get myself ready for a shower. Jump in minus water and have a 3 minute clean, rinse the screen, shower myself then rinse the glass again before cleaning it as I should. Yes it is a palaver and should not be necessary if I fly as routine... but I have been neglectful and the place is a tip and that's why I am here... again... :o Next week, windolene!

Fly high everyone and have a lovely day.

Thanks for this tip. Our glass shower screen is just never clean. I dont know why. Im going to try your idea and report back.

Morning flyladies...my cockerel has ensured no rest for the wicked by being particularly "crowey" this morning...grrr...good job he's handsome or he'd be chicken pie!

Mrs MP - nice to hear you a Kaz got together yesterday. I'm going on a bear hunt tomorrow with another flylady (very excited) as I've been longing to put a face to the username. Not sure if I should stand under the clock tower with a red carnation in my buttonhole so she will know who I am :rotfl: Oh, she will know it's me. I'll be the frazzled, crazy-haired woman wrestling two monsters  (there's still time to call in sick)

Waiting for said monsters to wake up then we can all jump in the bath. Off to check the list for today....
