    Morning all.

Hope your sister is better soon Valli

Seems to be quite a few of us returners about - there must be something in the air.

    Monday - Living Room Loveliness

    Level Two
Lift sofa cushions, swap around if you can and vacuum all those crevices
Dust everywhere - check for cobwebs!

    Level Three
Move all the furniture you can and vacuum

    Extras
Sort out your herbs and spices - fling OOD stuff!
How's the winter prep coming along? Are all your gloves, hats and scarves washed?

Tip Top Tuesday - bathroom bliss

    Level 2
    Clean the handbasin(s)
Remove the plug and clean it thoroughly
Remove anything icky from the plughole
be a bleach baby and bleach that plughole!

    Level 3
    Clean baths and showers
Clean any shower screens - I use detergent in hot water to wipe off the scum and then finish with windowcleaner for a sparkle
If you use a wiper give the rubber blade a good wipe over
    Mop the floor.

    Extras
Empty a cupboard in there. Throw out anything icky and wipe the shelves over before replacing all tidily.

Top up the loo roll store.

Clean the window - wipe the frame before cleaning the glass.

Vacuum the dust out of the extractor fan cover - if you have one!

Empty the bin - and wash it and leave it outside in the sun to dry!

Get a bucket of hot water - give the loo brush a good rinse and put it out in the sun to dry! Don't forget the holder! Damp, scummy brushes breed germs. If it's too awful to contemplate, wrap it and bin it and buy a new one from a cheap household store

    List is up.

My sister is not so good - she's on IV antibiotics and in hospital so I may go for a flying visit tomorrow - not sure yet. But it explains the hygiene kick - see the list!

Wishing your sister a speedy recovery x

    Good morning All

Glad that it's the bathroom today as mine needs a deep clean, off to the gym this morning but in need of some breakfast, which is on cooking!

    Good Morning all,

DS decided 5am was the perfect time to get up, so here we are....

Yesterday was a great success, 11 kids here in total, all fed and watered. They had great fun playing outside most of the time, then an hour of TV time. All the mums said it was lovely and that they had relaxed so much - they kept offering to help clear up but I said no. DH did all the clearing up when he got home from work :) I should have photographed my kitchen before he tidied up and posted a pic it was like something off Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners :)

Today's plans are limited. Have a visiting relative this morning, then need to take DS for his feet measuring this afternoon. Oh and pay two cheques in and take some money out for the plasterer who is coming next week.

    Have wonderful days all x

Hope your sister gets better soon Valli - the IV antibiotics should kick any infection into touch, so try not to worry xxx

Kaz - I love dogs and have three huge bruisers of my own, but I am very aware of how other people view them, so maybe your new neighbour is the same. If they are working dogs, they should be well trained and unlikely to be noisy. It also depends on the breed. Keeping everything crossed...maybe they'll be Malamutes...geddit? *slinks off...*

Please be careful Kim - I'd recommend a hot curry over moving furniture any day. Says she, who scrubbed out the wheelie bin in a desperate effort to induce labour  Will this little one really be number 9? That's amazing!

ATB - well done for yesterday - sounds like a fabulous day :D

Happy birthday Master Mouse - hope it's a great generation with lots of cake x

Ahh, small people have just appeared...see you later x

    Morning,

Hugs to Valli's sister, CY and any other poorlies. Baby out vibes to kimplus8 xx

Another one with a grotty night here. Very awkward dreams. And a visit from DD. Still, I've had a coffee and feel more human. Will feed the littlies then start on picnic plans - I'll get the towels in to wash beforehand too so they can be out drying.

Looking after devil child and angel sister in the morning - their mum is going for a urology scan following some quite severe infections. She has her husband but obvs he wants to take her and they don't want the children there so I've said they can come here for the morning. Posivibes for her tomorrow!

    Right, I think I'll make a start!

Thank you one and all for the wonderful warm welcome. It really has given me the boost I needed to make a start on clearing this chaos. :)

Bathrooms today, thanks Valli. My top tip for flyladies who live in hard water areas and have let things go a little is to clean the shower doors with a little limescale removing toilet cleaner! Lemon juice or vinegar would of course be much more environmentally friendly but both 'thickness' of the toilet cleaner and its harsh colouring make it far easier to apply and see where you've scrubbed. Use gloves, apply a sparse amount quickly and rinse well. Don't be tempted to leave it to soak. It is very caustic and could cause damage to other surfaces and your skin.

I get myself ready for a shower. Jump in minus water and have a 3 minute clean, rinse the screen, shower myself then rinse the glass again before cleaning it as I should. Yes it is a palaver and should not be necessary if I fly as routine... but I have been neglectful and the place is a tip and that's why I am here... again... :o Next week, windolene!

Fly high everyone and have a lovely day.

Morning all  and Happy Birthday Master Mouse!
    :bdaycake:

A nice sunny start to the day again here.

I will focus on the bathroom today, as per the list, but it shouldn't take long because I gave it a very thorough clean at the weekend - although I admit that I failed to clean the underside of the plug on that occasion!

    I must also
    - do WMx1
    - go to SW with DH
    - set my password for my new gas/elec account, but this will involve a phonecall to their customer services because the link in the welcome email they sent me isn't working
    - check transport times for Thursday and email a certain Flylady ;)
    - complete college paperwork
    - sort out tweaks to our charity logo and order banners
    - do some reading
    - water plants
    - go out for a meal this evening with fellow-students on my course - good job it's weigh-in this morning, rather than tomorrow :rotfl:

    Morning All

I think I may start with some time in the kitchen today as it's in dire need! Last wash from the holibobs is in the WM so I could do with doing some ironing too. I also need to go and open up the Scout hut at lunchtime then close it again at teatime.

Hope your sister is feeling better soon Valli.

Anyone fancy joining me for a HHC @ 9.30?

    Have a good day all
