Kaz someone near me has lots of dogs. They are a sled dog team according to the sign printed on their owners van. They are mostly quiet apart from when the ice cream van comes around and they howl in tune to the noise.
Oh how super; where I used to live someone had a sled dog team in the next village, they were lovely dogs, very friendly and sociable.

I'll look forward to seeig the pics of the ratties when you get chance.

I have to make choccie mousse in a minute (Mr LW's request - and he's been a reasonably good boy this week) so I'll blitz the kitchen afterwards.

Hoping to get in HHG after that, so if I'm not around tomorrow, you'll know I can't move my joints after battling with our stone-hard soil! :D

    Wiping Wednesday - Kitchen Kapers

    Level 1 DONE :j
    Level 2 DONE :j
    Level 3 DONE :j

    Extras PICK AT LEAST 1

What about winter coats? While you're not wearing them check whether they need washing/dry cleaning and get them ready for winter! Actually you've reminded me I need new winter coats for all of us!

Window cleaning - WIPE THE FRAMES FIRST! - Raining and did them at the weekend

Yucky extra - does the cooker hood need cleaning? Not got one, so I cleaned the oven top instead!

Kiddie Kapers - Not here, but I wish they were DD is a stationery fiend
Pencil cases - they need emptying. Sharpen pencils and crayons ready for September; check all your pens work and throw out the broken/manky ones!
You DO NOT NEED 400 PENCILS CHILLIES! And do the sharpening outside, over a b-i-g bucket!
If you've got a summer task to do (such as a holiday diary) make a start if you haven't done so!

Nice sparkling kitchen, which is good it needed a good clean, after I konmarie my wool stuff, it's kitchen so a lot easier to do now it's clean!

Today has been semi productive, still not working from the lists but we're stuck in tomorrow waiting for someone to come and collect our old TV so we can get stuck in :D Flinging flinging flinging this week :j

We've done a small weekly shop, and bought 5 boxes of cereal :o We don't usually eat cereal but I've been craving wheat biscuits and wheat that's shredded so I let DD get some as well on the 3 for £3 offer ;) Added a few other things and I've spent £49 on groceries this week when I usually spend about £30 and then top ups.

I spent this afternoon/evening going through boxes of charity stuff by reclaiming a couple of books I'd put in there by accident (I realised when I went to look for it the other day) and moving all the stuff which is sellable out of it, then all the softer stuff into binbags I've got it down to 5 binbags and 10 boxes from 2 binbags and 16 boxes! I now need to phone the shop and get them to come collect it. We have 2 boxes of bits which are sellable (books in excellent condition I got from the charity shop for £1 which are worth about £20 on the bay of e but I didn't know it at the time ;)) and then I should have my bedroom back before the holidays are over.

Right now I'm going to write out my winter prep list, then chase DD to bed. I've not been sleeping well so I'm hoping an earlier night will help fool my body into sleeping before 4am....back in the morning to grab the lists. ;)

    Bless you...

Not v. impressed by a fellow visitor at the hospital - who decided to ignore the gender signage on the ladies loo - and the signage saying patients only - and the signage saying WHY the toilet was for patients only - on the oncology unit, where many of the patients will have chemically-compromised immune systems. !!!!!! HE was visiting a cancer patient (possibly his son) and chose to COMPLETELY disregard the multitude of notices saying the toilets were for patients only and explaining why.

    A word was had...
