  • Good morning all,

I got an awful lot done yesterday so feel pretty chuffed with myself. DH has taken the car to work so we are having a home day. I feel utterly drained but have found a lovely local lady that does Reiki so I'm going to book myself in :)

I'm sorry, I have read everyone's news but I'm struggling to retain anything so I'll just send you all huge hugs and love.

Doubt I'll be back online until Saturday now, tomorrow will be spent sorting out the final bits and pieces for Friday. At least the forecast looks good so the sun will be shining on us all as well say our goodbyes

    Have lovely days all xx

    Morning all.

Well done on the weight loss Ionafan. Enjoy your flylady meet Dizzy.

So far today I have done finances. I am planning to fill those vacuum bags before the paid stuff too as well as the dailies.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

I have to take medication for a very mild medical problem and I keep forgetting to take it, how stupid is that. So I feel a little bleugh this morning but its completely my own fault. Daft thing is I am very good at making sure DS1 has all his medication in his pill mate and I fill that up once a week.

Thinking of you ATB. I hope Friday goes as well as it can.

Need to have a go at the kitchen later, both paid stuff today first. DS has footie training tonight, I have a meeting.

So much going on here this week. Have a good Wednesday everyone x

    Morning!

We have our visitors, arrived in pjs :D. Boys are racing Xbox cars and girls are upstairs caring for their "babies".

I'm just having toast and coffee till they start demanding food ;)

Will stick a wash on while the sun is shining and get that out - my towels yesterday were brought in wetter than they were when pegged out <rollseyes>.

On a positive note, my conservatory ceiling seems to have dried out - the test will be tonight as we are forecast heavy rain...

Hope you all have a productive day, and if we don't "see" you before, ATB I hope all goes well on Friday xxx

    Morning all

Hope your sister is feeling better again today, Valli.
Ouch  mrs-mp! Pleased to hear that you and Kaz enjoyed your flymeet yesterday.
Guess what, Dizzy - I'm going on a bear hunt tomorrow too! :j (and if you call in sick I shall be forced to ride steam trains with DH all day!)

Updating my list - if it's not here, it's not relevant:
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Empty the fridge - deal with anything that needs sorting/throwing/using up[/STRIKE] - lard Jan 2013 (no idea why I bought it, but pre-SW!), ketchup Mar 2014 (I only buy it for the grandchildren) :o --> FLING!
[STRIKE]Wash the shelves etc in warm, soapy water
Wipe the fridge out - don't forget the door seals
Replace the shelves[/STRIKE] and restock - will go into town later, after I've rested my foot and viewed another DVD episode for college whilst drinking well-earned :coffee:

    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Remove everything from worktops
    wipe them down
put back only what should live there - wipe as you go!
    Wipe all small appliances
    Wipe sockets and switches[/STRIKE]

    Level 3

[STRIKE]Give the microwave a zing - stick a cup of hot water in, with a slice of lemon or a few drops (I keep lemon slices in the freezer ready for my G&T) -
zap for 2 minutes and leave the door shut for 5 - then remove the turntable and hoop and wash them and wipe out the microwave.[/STRIKE]
    Sweep/mop/vacuum the floor as appropriate

    Extras PICK AT LEAST 1
[STRIKE]Empty out the cutlery drawer - also did kitchen tools drawer - and de-crumb it; wash the tray if you can.[/STRIKE]

See you laters, alligators (don't you just love the ones in the BBC Olympics trailer that do the synchronised diving?)

Kaz someone near me has lots of dogs. They are a sled dog team according to the sign printed on their owners van. They are mostly quiet apart from when the ice cream van comes around and they howl in tune to the noise.

Dizzy, don't worry we all got a 'lecture' of MrsMP's son yesterday, about meet up with folk off the internet, how dangerous it is, etcetc..............as he is not allowed to go and meet off the internet, yet we are! :).............I hasen to add we are in broad day light, in a large open space, had all exchange phone numbers, the ladies were accompanied by 2 OH's, plus one son etc and agreed on time and place in advance, plus we also meet last year, so I think we are ok! :)

MrsMP you take care, climbing up things.

Morning all - Great Aunty's funeral today so flying on hold :(

Can't remember who asked about the ratties but one is grey / silver and one is a golden siamese - both have a white blaze on their nose. Photos will be taken when I can get them to stay still enough!!!

All this talk of meetings is making me think it's about time we had another meet in London / the South. Anyone interested, let me know and we'll try and organise something.

Dizzy - I can vouch for ionafan! Hope you have a good day bear hunting!

Mrs MP and kaz - glad you had a good day.

    Hugs to all xx

All well here, they went home at 10:30 although I'm now sat out watching them ride bikes in the street. They're being very sensible. It's quiet but the odd car has come past and the boys have pulled to the side every time :)

Think we'll go in for lunch soon though - in my sparkly kitchen :D
