Morning!
We are still not dressed here. Just had brekki and tidied kitchen up after. DD has wiped up their little table :A - only because she likes the spray cleaner haha
Quiet day here, need a trip to @ldee for packup things for next weeks summer clubs, and MIL is coming over later to babysit while I go meet friends later
I might try de-grey myself this aft! And wash the shower room out after! And I want to dust n vac all downstairs, strip and remake my bed and sort the spare room for granny. Better crack on!
I have paid the "sparkle" this morning so kitchen all done and dusted and paid for :T oh and I've ordered wallpaper for the LR - just one wall so need to decide on a reasonably washable light grey paint for the walls...Bossymoo

Morning all,
Pleased with how it has gone this week. House looks fairly tidy apart from master bedroom and room of Doom!!!
For some reason I couldn't copy and paste the list but I have done Wednesday's list! Thanks for the tip about the microwave! Would never have thought about using lemon juice!!! Any other top tips greatly received!!!!
Realistically I don't think the bedroom will get done today as we are going on holiday so today is washing, ironing and packing day!!!! We are travelling to Manchester tomorrow morning and then fly out on Sunday. Not sure why hubby decided to do this as now I have to pack an overnight bag as well!!!!
Anyway today's list
Wm x 3
Hhi x 3
Dw
10 minute tidy up in bedroom
Finish packing
Pick up currency
Buy lunch stuff to take with us tomorrow!
Finish doing boys travel bags (seemed like a good idea at the time!!!)Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
We are still not dressed here.
Me neither
But I have already
- made 2 coffee sponges for DH to take to the model railway show tomorrow (definitely not SW friendly)
- cleaned my kitchen scales so that they look whiter than they have done for years
- started WMx1 of 3 and
- made DH a cuppa in return for him bringing my tool box, drill and saw upstairs so that I can cut down my new bookshelves to fit the gap and assemble them. Then I can clear some more things off the spare bed.
This afternoon I must also pop into town to see the digital print man and place an order for roller banners and business cards for our charity - we've got 3 opportunities for displays this autumn.
I coped quite well yesterday with a long slope down, some level walking and about a million steps up again (Tiny and Small just ran up them :rotfl:) but I shall also rest my foot around lunchtime and all evening.
My Toots list is shrinking, albeit very slowly.
DH finished fitting the Guttergu@rd and is going to seal all round under the fascia boards this afternoon to deter any more househunting wasps.
I have tackled several little outstanding jobs like the bookshelves.
But I have lots of "real" work and studying to do too...
Happy Hols to all who are off this weekend.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need x
Off to the shower...:D0 -
I'm about to turf the small people out in the garden - so I can attack the dusties down here.
I've just emptied and washed out my bins as both bottoms were grotty - another load in WM as I think my bedding is dry so I'll swap those over soon.
DD is mithering me today, she was up early again - think she's tired out. I'm sending her to tidy for 5min so she appreciates her playtime
We have birthday party supplies - snowflake cutters for icing and some edible shimmer dust and gems. We have a design ready!
Right, I'm off to get my vac out!!!Bossymoo

Wow! What a day so far...just sat down with a cuppa and Tiny has zonked out on my lap. I had hoped the boys would sleep in this morning after a fun-packed day yesterday, but no...6am was my wake-up time, apparently...
We all had a really lovely time with Iona yesterday, although the semi-naked skinny dipping in the fountain by Tiny might have been frowned upon by the staff :rotfl: Thanks Iona for the ice-cream treats and for the snap shot at the steam train station:D
All the boys enjoyed the circus in the evening, which was a human only show from America. I'm glad, as I don't approve of circus animals. DH was rather miffed when I picked them up, as his cousin had invited them, saying he'd got tickets, which DH assumed to mean for my lot too...no, just for him and his brother. DH had to pay full-price for our family...jolly expensive
No flying done since Wednesday...0 -
Afternoon all. Just finished the paid stuff for the week. Tonight's plans:
Walk LittleyDog & post letter en route
Make a cake for tomorrow's charity fundraiser
Feed me and the dog
Rest
Pick up DH from the paid stuff
Took a lunch break today and got the ironing done.
Have a great evening everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Evening all
Absolutely horrid day here weather-wise. It's chilly, wet and windy :eek:I have paid the "sparkle" this morning so kitchen all done and dusted and paid for :T oh and I've ordered wallpaper for the LR - just one wall so need to decide on a reasonably washable light grey paint for the walls...... we are going on holiday so today is washing, ironing and packing day!!!! Not done much flying here today except dailies and strip/turn/remake our bed with clean bedding. I have made salmon fishcakes for dinner but apart from that there has been a lot of Olympic watching here
Hugs, vibes, sticks and spoons all round

Oh Valli - I'm feeling the pain in your words.
The biggest virtual squishy hugs and a shoulder if you need one. Wish I could do something more positive

I know I have the love and support of flyladies and that means so much or I wouldn't have shared.
