I saw that. We tasted loads of different low-price Prosecco last year when we were planning a big party and did actually buy from Asda - but not this one, which we found was so dry it was a bit tasteless (and I am a lover of very dry white wines). It is probably perfect for bucks fizz or similar mixed drink but I would not use this as a celebratory toast drink, personally. - My word that sounds pretentious but it is not meant to - just a cautionary word

My new month started yesterday and my first spends were £45.40 in Aldi. This feels like a lot and I still need to get coconut milk which I annoyingly forgot.
I've got a five week month this month which is always tough so I need to vigilant. On the plus side I got a large chicken which will do a roast, a pie and soup and three lots of Turkey mince which padded out will make two chillis, two bolognaise sauces and two cottage pies. I'm going to do those today and get them in the freezer which should make next week a bit easier. I also got DS's food tech ingredients.
Good luck for November everyone.
PP xOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

I'd like to set £60 this month please.
I did quite well in October, but was thrown off this past week, what with it being half-term, and my sister coming round for her tea - she always wants something posh! Although I've been pleased with myself for mostly resisting the draw of the Costas in the garden centre next door to me!
I went on Monday, but used the accumulated points on my coffee club card. Then went again yesterday but only got a flat white (almost the cheapest item on the "menu"). Although well worth it to watch the older man sat next to me add 5 sugars to his cup of tea! http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/laughing-smiley-014.gif
No trick or treat stuff brought by me. I hate everything about trick or treating, so ignore any knockers and pretend I'm not in! Although since I moved into my current flat I haven't had any anyway, that I can remember! Not really any kids down this end of the street. Plus I'm going out tonight anyway, and probably won't be back until 8-ish, when I imagine it'll all be mostly done with. Might still be some on Sunday/Monday! I'll just ignore it though.Because it's fun to have money!
