Evening all,
This is not going to be the most informative of posts ...
However, I need to be £300 down on what we normally are due to a car failure issue ... i.e. needs replacing.
So, if the mods could put me down at an odd amount of -300 ... that's what I'm going to work to ...
This does include eating out/in/toiletries/incontinent cats/not alcohol ....GC - March 2024 -0 -
Please put me down for £175, i am determined to get my spending down this month. Although it is down from the £300 I was spending, I went over my £150 budget. Have used up a lot of ready made freezer meals and have some pumkin, loads of onions and garlic to use up this weekend.
My month started 26th Oct-25th Nov and I have spent £22.80 so far on on bulk buying.
Really pleased with these bargains:
6 x cartons organic soya milk reduced from £1.40 to 75p
Vanilla soya milk 3 for £3.00
8 x tins plum tomatoes £2.00
Also bought a big bag of green lentils and chick peas and some veg.
Starting to get a little stock pile together so hoping that food will last a good few months.#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

Hi all
My Ocad0 order arrived yesterday - I got charged for 5 bags so have to add that on to my order total, so that's £47.04. However, they left off 1 block of tofu, so I have requested a refund. I will take that off when they issue it, it will be £1.50.
Also had a small spend yesterday - little Tesc0 had approx 7 million bags of organic carrots reduced from £1 to 39p each so I bought 2 of those.
Date.......Shop.....Amount.....Remaining
26 Oct.....Ocad0.....£47.04.....£62.96 (Bulk cleaning products, tins etc)
27Oct.....Tesc0.....£00.78.....£62.18 (Reduced organic carrots)
I *may* do a vegetable shop tonight although I still have a fair bit in. Need onions though as shockingly have run out (this never happens to me!!).
Hope everyone has a good Friday... it's very nearly the weekend!:j:D

Made the mistake of letting OH go to the shops last night to pick up a few bits and pieces (he volunteers for this as he is a fizzy drink -aholic). He also managed to pick up vast amounts of junk for any potential trick or treaters! Total spend £ 20.44/ 260.
Have a good weekend!0
