I'm going to go high this month & say £550 for the 6 of us. Not just because I'm going to exceed October's target, but also because I will be stashing stuff away for Christmas (as I have been throughout October, too) so that it barely causes a blip on our normal spending, although we won't be stinting and we will have plenty of extra mouths to feed at one point or another. But hopefully we'll also be losing two full-time mouths; DS2 & TDiL are due to move out at the start of December. So November is the last month of feeding 6, fingers crossed...

    Hiya folks :hello:

Thank you Zippy and Coxy for running the thread for all us budgeters - I find it really helps keep me conscious of my household spending :D

We are aiming for our usual £200 for November please.

Our month runs from the first to last day of the month and covers all meals, toiletries, laundry and cleaning materials.

Good luck to everyone taking the challenge and hope you all have a frugal month :D

    Hi all

Thanks for another thread Zippy and Coxy, I'm definitely getting back to being more focused!

I'm still in October until 25th, but signing up ready for November as I'm eager!

I'd like to go for £110 from 26 Oct to 24 Nov please although I am going to really try and come in at under £100. No reason I shouldn't be able to!

Just a quick question - when we used to post recipes in the thread they used to get added to the main index - are you still doing this? Thanks and have a great month everyone!

£20.97 for farm shop spend to set me up for week one (I start on 26 October - delivery on 28), didn't do one last week (a first!) and I have been auditing my freezers/clearing out the fridge (amazingly clear) this morning. I'm determined to meet (my generous) budget and carry on not being a SLEEPWALKING HOARDER lol

In other news, some thieving scrote has been helping themselves to my doorstep delivery of milk. I'll have to ask the milkman to ring the doorbell once he's delivered. I'm usually up super-early as we are House of Insomnia. Grr.

    Hiya Elsie

Yes, they still get added and I noted your posts 144 and 155 on October thread.

I run the recipes part of the thread now, but have to get a link from Zippy to add them. I try to only bother her once a month to sort and post me a link, so should be added soon :D

  • Hi everyone, I am still on October thread until 31st October, when I will join here. Can you please add me for £80, for 2 adults. That's £20 more than last month, but I found £60 really tight. It's to include food, toiletries etc, but not alcohol. I run a separate budget for that.
