You might note that the two girls haven't posted anything relevant to the thread. I mean nothing. So you'll miss nothing by putting them on ignore.

Have you actually had any success with the media, less you get sidetracked?

    Sorry - no I haven't
I have just downloaded the latest Media Creation tool and am trying again
But it STILL gives me standard options (presumably not the latest version)

Why are you so keen to install this update when your first post was a complaint that it was being foisted on people?
    50Twuncle wrote: »
The update itself is approx. 3.5Gb in size and we have no choice whether we want it or not !
Already Skype and Xbox are default apps - we can't even be trusted NOT to install these (whether we want them or not)

!! AND SO IT BEGINS !!

..because you are a Troll, with no useful technical advice to impart.
It's the same thing with you for thread after thread. Don't you have any friends? It's seems that you are here for some kind of social aspect.
I'm here to help. I already have friends.

I'm actually shocked that you claim to work in IT.
I simply don't understand why you are trying and failing with the Media Creation Tool again and again, especially when I already supplied you with the direct link. The exact link that would have been created by the Media Creation Tool. It has already been utilised successfully by others on this thread
    Really...what are you thinking?!

Because - I will shortly have no choice as to when it is installed by MS on my PC !
I prefer to have control of when and what is installed
Hence my decision to Jump the gun
Also - it is eating into my month return to previous OS

No, just to offer technical advice in a friendly manner, You seem to take pleasure in being rude and abrasive
