I'm actually shocked that you claim to work in IT.
I simply don't understand why you are trying and failing with the Media Creation Tool again and again, especially when I already supplied you with the direct link. The exact link that would have been created by the Media Creation Tool. It has already been utilised successfully by others on this thread
    Really...what are you thinking?!
I realise that and apologise for not using your link earlier - it is now showing a 403 !!

Because - I will shortly have no choice as to when it is installed by MS on my PC !
I prefer to have control of when and what is installed
Hence my decision to Jump the gun
Also - it is eating into my month return to previous OS

You should have organised installing Pro if you wanted to have that control. You aren't actually limited to one month. you can install your previous OS at any time. it's only the Rollback that won't work unless you take prior steps.

I only joined this thread to express my distaste about the way you were treating posters.

I have already stated this - Are you blind ?

Posters? I don't see the OP complaining. They can take it in the spirit that it is meant.
It's only you and your girlfriend Fightsback disrupting the thread.
Everything, other than the posts from you two, is on topic. Trolls, plain and simple.
In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement.

If you are planning to use the rollback feature provided by Microsoft, then I've an idea it won't naturally upgrade itself until the month is up.

If you had, say, Windows 7, then windows 7 files are kept in windows.old.

But if you wanted to upgrade from the current Windows 10 ("version 1511") then installing the Anniversary Update would want to use that same windows.old to store the version 1511 files, so that you could rollback from the Anniversary Update to version 1511 in the month after that upgrade.

I don't think you can have 2 windows.old folders and a double rollback available on one machine, so I would expect it to wait a month after the initial upgrade to Windows 10, until the first windows.old is finished with and gets deleted, before it tries to install the Anniversary Update

If, on the other hand, you had a backup of your previous OS using Macrium Reflect or similar then, as mentioned, you can rollback at any time, regardless of the 30 days.

NiftyDigits has been very helpful to the OP in this thread, and said one thing, out of frustation presumably, which the OP could have, but it seems did not, take offence at.
AndyPix and Fightsback, who I've seen being helpful in other threads, have not helped the OP at all here, and just slagged off NiftyDigits, starting with AndyPix calling out the above comment.
NiftyDigits wins this mighty internet thread battle in my book.

I thought it was PEBKAC? (Either works ... mine "scans" better when you say it).

The other one is PICNIC. :D
