Make sure you do not have funds in your Paypal account

If you succeed with a valid chargeback, they can make all the noise they want but I can't see them being able to make you pay the money back to them.
..Apparently they can chase you for the Money via a debt collection agency...I can well do without that kind of stress...All sounds a bit mad to me...I don't really understand how these things work...I use Paypal a lot..And if I got into a wrangle with them over this they would close my account is appears...

Anyone can sue you for money or send debt collectors in, where the case either stands or falls is if it's a valid claim.
Again, if you succeeded in a chargeback, the banks involved obviously think your claim is valid.
Nothing you can do if they want to close your account afterwards.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Who did u get ur refund off
  • from their previous message looks like paid through paypal.
    but i think coincidence
based on previous refunds, today we have had 2 members on here with the name "H"
    Allison was the first refund
This is happening in alphabetical order based on some guesses!
  • Well if that's the case we've got a long wait ahead of us. If it took 9 days to get from a-h how long is it going to take to get from h-s??? I think we're looking at a couple of weeks at least. They really are taking the pee now. I'm on day 24 and still nothing

My surname starts with T and PayPal reimbursed me on 31st July; 11th day after I lodged the claim. Just lucky (for once!) I guess.

My lad booked his hols for September to Majorca with LHC ..Flights ok as with Ryanair

Turns out the hotel booking was farmed out to Jumbotours but not been paid so have just repaid it and awaiting money back from Lloyds

Only found this out about Jumbo as have just come back from the same resort so we nipped round to his hotel to check
Would presume Jumbo never contacted my lad about the booking because they wouldnt have any contact details apart from name
    Have a nice day :)
