I put my claim in with Tesco credit card on 27th July, but I've now just realised that, whilst I did pay using my Tesco card, it was processed through Paypal. Should I cancel my Tesco claim and claim through Paypal instead or is it best to wait and see what Tesco come back with first?

Well as Martin put "PayPal. If you paid by PayPal, you're covered by its buyer protection scheme – but only if you raise a dispute within 180 days of paying. A spokesperson told us: "Purchasers of holidays from Lowcostholidays paid for with PayPal are indeed covered under PayPal buyer protection. They have 180 days from the date of payment to open a dispute relating to the payment." You can contact them for the claim, but as you are already doing that via the card provider it may be best to contact them and ask where they are with the claim process before you contact paypal who are taking longer with claims.
  • I didn't realise I had to sign up to come on here lol. It seems a fair amount of people are starting to get there money back

...I was wondering if you could actually start claims with both your card issuer, and paypal ..And whoever pays up first..Just cancel the other claim..I am in a similar position having paid my holiday deposit through paypal..Linked to my RBS Credit card....Any thoughts out there on this approach....
