I paid for my hotel by MasterCard Debit. I made a claim from Danske Bank. Today I've got a letter saying that I need to wait for decision up to 4 months...
  • Just checked my account online and a full refund has been credited overnight!

Booked through lastminute.com - didn't have to send any paperwork or documentation was all done over the phone.

    Brilliant, well done :T

From what I've heard Lastminute have been appalling about this. Take your money and run, well ha, ha, got ya! :naughty::naughty:
  • Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a chargeback from Nationwide. Still nothing from the nationwide for me. Been chasing for days - told by operator today that they have sent a letter but they don't the content of it - they may need more evidence. Doubt it somehow as I supplied receipt showing paid in full plus emails from hotel, airline and transfer company all confirming they hadn't received anything!!!!!!!!! suspect they are sending a fob-off letter instead but didn't want to say that on the phone

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hi rutters, having read a lot of earlier posts, it does seem to be the case that the 120 days start from the date Lowcost went out of business, 15th July:cool:
