  • You can claim charge back as its 120day from when you found out they went bust!! Not from when you paid them!! I'm not an expert but read loads of different comments and advise online, hope this helps alittle ?!? People are getting there money back though charge back (on Facebook lowcostholidays and low cost holiday collapse help group) and section 75. Good luck with your claim !!!!

    Paid for accommodation only £1,678 ,for two weeks AI ,through LCH ,/Low cost beds,
    Paid on Barclaycard visa ,had also travel insurance with crispin &Peters ,with add on end user supplier failure,had long phone call with IPP ,who straight away shut their doors on any LCH claims,they were not big enough to stand it it anyway,
    Lodge dispute with Barclaycard , downloaded form and sent all correspondence confirmed that they have the info and claim us being investigated .
    got back after a week camping,to find computer generated forms on door Matt asking for exactly the same info..so will ring the,m Monday am
    We are flying out 2oth August ,flights fine bought direct with monarch,and Hotel says bring your voucher ,you will get same deal........Turkey .....maybe they are short on tourists....not the best holiday planning is it!....ohh and if Any one can pass a message to Paul Evans ,tell him he is a thief and I hope he suffers a slow and painful Death


    update:AUGUST 1ST, spoke to Barclaycard today been informed they have submitted charge back, and my account has been credited, they explained that they do not expect any disputes, but he suppliers merchant has 60 days to respond, he did explain that if that's is unsuccessful it will progress to section 75,looks like I have my money back , they are now queuing for thiers

    I put the claim in a week ago and it was a chargeback.

    Phoned Barclays yesterday and got told they have so many we have till wait a further 14 days,Surely if other banks honour it they should? people would just jump ship

    Yes, mine was just confirmed yesterday though not shown up in CC account yet; said up to 5 days for that.

    I booked my hotel through lowcostholidays and I just found out my reservations was cancelled and does not exists on the hotel's system.

    I am based in Mexico City and paid a with a Credit Card my holidays in Riviera Maya.

    Any advice ?
  • Hi, I'm looking for some advice regarding the booking I made through Lowcost holidays. We're not traveling until October half term and have confirmed our flights with Ryan air. After following Martins advice and checking the booking with the hotel, they said they have never had a booking through our name. We proceeded to ask how much it would cost for a full week all inclusive to see if we could still go and just claim the rest of the money back. The hotel replied saying that they don't do all inclusive at this hotel, but we booked the holiday as all inclusive as that was what it was advertised as through Lowcost holidays. I'm just trying to find out where I stand with this as the holiday never existed in the first place, I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?
