    sharpe910sh, look further up this thread. Peskie pixie has had a successful payout from Hoteling.com.

    It looks like an admin is where you have raised a chargeback against LCH not Hoteling.com. Contact the bank, chargeback claims should still be valid.

    The bank said I will be recieving a credit. So looks good! hopefully they don't return the credit!
  • I raised my chargeback claim with Barclays on 18th July, my filled in paperwork was entered on their system yesterday. I have just rang them for an update and they said the following "Your chargeback claim has been raised, but Barclays intend to group all claims together as this will give a better chance of reclaiming the money from the administrators".
    Does this seem right?

    The money does not come from the administrators. I've found Barclays staff to be seriously misinformed on this .

    Fourth Anniversary 10 Posts Combo Breaker
    Rang Halifax this morning. Was given a reference number and put through to the disputes team... only to be told they'd received nothing. No details, no claim from the phone team. I'm fuming. Especially as I rang them the other day for an update and they said it was there but no update on it! The lady was really nice and put all the details through but now I've got another 7-10 working days to wait!

    Just been told exactly the same thing by Halifax, despite raising the dispute in branch. :wall:

    So frustrating. I've made a complaint... don't know where it'll get me but I wasn't letting them get away with it!
  • I have just had a call from Natwest, on day 10 of the 7-10 working day wait.

    They will issue a full credit for the full amount paid for my hotel reservation - Flights was booked separate so did not claim off that.

    Give the banks their 7-10 working days, seems they do call eventually, hats off to Natwest.
  • We had been told by Paypal that we would receive a full refund for our Lowcost holiday booking within 10 days of making the claim. This didn't happen. I phoned after 12 days to be told its going to take longer because they are dealing with the administrators. Still not refunded. Has anyone received a refund from Paypal? I'm getting concerned they will try to back out of this. We need our money back to re book a holiday.
