Doingitanyway well done on your brilliant decluttering. If you need any inspiration to carry on and have the time look up Minsgame. It is a challenge set up by 2 American guys that has now gone viral as they say. You remove 1 item from your home on day 1 of the month (ideally posting on twitter showing a picture of your item and using the #minsgame to meet other players. Day 2 get rid of 2 things, keep going through the month removing the number of items the date suggests. By day 30 you will have removed over 400 items from your home if you play right through. I love it as a challenge and have done several rounds. And yet still I have items to get rid of!

Clippy huge congratulations on clearing so much.

Helloooo Turtles, have returned from my Race for Life 10k which went really well, did it in 1 hour 26 minutes, which isn't good compared to a good runner, but was only a few minutes past my last time and was under my target of 90 minutes.

There was half a plan to go and get a drink afterwards (i was running with three girls from the football team i go to) but in the end everyone went home, which is great because it means I can declare today as a NSD. Which takes me up to 7!

Am going to go to the shops with my OH, and he is going to buy curtains and some potatoes, we are also going to go to a local art gallery as they happen to be serving free prosecco and strawberries so i want to womble some of that.

The run was great because it was a real challenge, I felt so empowered running it, and it was easily the most confident I have ever felt in a race or on a run. I was very much running my own race, not in competition with anyone, I didn't even care that i was the last to finish out of my friends.

I had decided I wasn't going to do another 10k (there is one this September) but I am feeling a bit inspired and eager to do more. So who knows...

Homemade Chinese for tea tonight, I have done a meal plan until the day our food shopping budget for July ends (27th) so we should be able to stick to the 8 quid we have left on the budget.

Well. This afternoon I accompanied DS and DH to the swimming pool which we all walked to, but me and DD just stayed outside and watched. It isnt that enjoyable taking her swimming yet as she seems to get a bit overwhelmed by the change in temperature when leaving the water and go into melt down mode. So we had a nice hour and a half instead in the sunshine.

We found a box full of 'take me' items by the roadside and took a lovely glass lantern/candle holder for the garden, that they sell in the likes of White Stuff for £30+, a cats toy that has a squeaking hamster in a ball, & a pair of kick boxer style padded gloves which DS has already had a great time with.

I dropped off 3 more Lonley Planet guides at the coffee shop book swap, & have just hoovered the whole house!

Hot and needing a shower now :)

Thanks Bob, I will indeed look this up :)

I've done well today in some areas and not others.

I finally got the stuff out of the house and to the CS but couldn't carry the shoe rack so will take that tomorrow.

My dining room table is clear and clean again. Lots of paper decluttered and the big basket containing all the paperwork is now repurposed in my bedroom for storing extra blankets :)

It's obvious I know to most of you but I'm finding the more I get rid of the easier it is to keep things tidy. I don't know why I hadn't worked that out as I think I'm reasonably intelligent :o

My stumbling block is selling stuff as I ran into problems setting up paypal :( I had an account years ago and I must have given false security info as they have blocked me now

I made stuffed peppers and used cauliflower rice too. Both turned out very well

I did spend (a little) and will tomorrow too as I will finally get a swim in :)

I'm very impressed with how much other turtles achieve. Really enjoying this challenge. Thank you all :)

Me and OH spent most of yesterday clearing out and cleaning the old flat. We were planning to treat ourselves to a takeaway, however, decided to save our money and had some lovely steaks that were in the freezer. Spent £6.60 on bits to go with them but at least a lot less than a takeaway.

Today I've done a shift for 2nd job so that will be an extra £50ish on Friday. Today has been a bit of a spendy day as I decided to have a wee peek at the NeXt sale. Bought 4 pairs of jeans, had a £15 voucher that I got for christmas so spent £33 and have finally got jeans that fit properly :D

    Morning All

Well I've had an extremely busy weekend and haven't really been at home so I hadn't even seen the weekend challenge until just never mind done any of it! However, I am now up to 8 NSD so not too bad. Just about to walk the dog and then go to work - on countdown for Friday!

    Have a good day all

    morning all,

NSD achieved yesterday :) Didn't manage to get anything listed on ebay unfortunately though, will try and list tomorrow for 5 days to end on sunday.

checked my new pay online and its about what i thought. Increasing my spends budget by £50 but will have £400 to transfer. will see if i can order carpet tomorrow :)

today should be a NSD except buying eggs from a colleague for £1. Not going to count it though as I can't buy them on my shopping day as she only works part time. well worth it though as they are the nicest eggs i have ever had :)

today i am trying to eat well and going to go to the gym. might be a bit of a challenge though as i am going to a meeting for work and its held in a cafe and they are doing catering. the cakes at that place are amazing :drool:
