Why would he want to stay around and oversee the biggest economic clusterf*ck in history?
He absolutely will not stay around. He cannot keep any budget commitment he has given now . He'll be gone with Cameron, if not before.0 -

Goodbye Great Britain, hello little england.
nice to see you take defeat gracefully0 -
Well you're half way to the quid falling 20% and the FTSE is down almost 5%.
One plus of everyone being wrong about the result is although the markets are chaotic we get to see exactly how they price brexit rather than the impact being felt over time and it being harder to see what happens.
Currently the pound is at similar levels to March and the stock market 10% above its February lows and above 6,000.
I would not call that armageddon.I think....0 -
:rotfl:Boris just left his house......loads of chanting 'Tory Scum'.........we are a country divided..........totally riven down the middle.....and the tories are tacking back to the right....who will now grab the centre ground? Meanwhile Donald Trump lands and is serenaded up the steps to his new golf course by the pipers.
now that the decision is made, why would the tories lurch to the right? That would be political suicide.
The Tory remainers don't want that and the leave vote was delivered by the left leaning north after all...
Perhaps the tories (and labour) will realise that since the next government needs to bring the country back together, a move to the centre of politics is what is required.
Perhaps i am just overly optimistic....0 -

Bearing in mind the situation that we are now in, I am quite happy where the ftse currently is, but still plenty time for it to drop further of course (I'm not counting my chickens just yet).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Goodbye Great Britain, hello little england.
Big England, engaging with the world, leading a new wave in true democracy.
The people have managed to keep their heads in spite of the loft liberal establishment throwing everything at them
I always said Labour was no longer the party of the working class, and that Labours detachment from reality was symptomatic of this curious liberal elite establishment getting to ruin everything
You're fired0 -

Not even half way. 6.2% against $ and 5% against euro.
Ftse down 5%. Not 20-30% as project fear suggested.
So that's the first Project Fear lie debunked. If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0
