Really? But I live in London which voted overwhelmingly to remain, yet I have to live with the decisions of people not representing my views and not even from the same region as me. Isn't that the same reason given for leaving the EU?
Did you not get an inkling there were clear divisions in the country?
I've been saying for ages that Team Remain, if they lost, would lose it in the Labour heartlands.
You can't say they weren't warned. The rise of a flimsy UKIP vote in places like NE in the last GE should have surely set alarm bells ringing.
The only politician I heard being honest about this was John Mann, because he had spent a lot of time going door to door.0 -

The people voted and that's the result.... I seem recall lots of posts yesterday about people not accepting the democratic decision (naturally assuming it would go the other way)...
It isn't the point I'm trying to make. You leave voters told us that you left the EU because it didn't feel democratic. How is it different for us in London?0
