Voted OUT first thing yesterday morning. Went to bed at my usual time, after a bit of gardening (mainly snail murder) and reading (very good book about the history of Jerusalem). Woke up ~05.45 and turned on 5Live, couldn't actually work out the result from the chatter, turned over to TalkSport which was more comprehensive and couldn't believe what I was hearing. Genuinely wasn't expecting that. Got the Tube in as usual and here I am (don't have the internet at home, it's very peaceful).
I would have voted Remain if the EU and its cheerleaders had showed the slightest interest in even having a conversation about the logistics of uncontrolled immigration and its uneven consequences.
Interesting times ahead, but Britain will muddle through. It always has. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

I tend to agree.
I also think the other EU states shafted Cameron. The deal he was able to negotiate did not tap into voters' concerns.
I think that an adaptable, reformable, EU could have lead to a different result.0 -

Indeed. It would also have helped if the [STRIKE]Remain[/STRIKE] Project Fear campaigners had concentrated on positives rather than extreme negatives all the time, IMO.0 -
My wife's just come back from walking our dogs in a local park.......she bumped into a group of people happily chatting away and overheard one of them say.....'Now we can get rid of the immigrants'.0

Completely agree.
Some of the blame for this has to land at the feet of the EU leaders.0 -
Cable is down 3%. Gold up 1%.
I would think that a high turnout favours Remain (high turnout = more younger voters) and Leave (high turnout = more poorer voters).
I thought gold was a rubbish bet ? 😗Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -
Congratulations to the leave camp. Your campaign of lies, division, hate and fear has worked a treat.
Goodbye Great Britain, hello little england.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0
