It was down 10% at 5am, more in fact. My IRESS (Aussie Srock Exchange) terminal had Sterling down 10.4% when I checked and down more like 12% from the intraday high.

Then the European Central Banks woke up.

Let's see where we are in a few months or a year. Economies don't change overnight. Let's see what investment decisions get made over the next year or so for example. No big Asian factories for you lot until you sort things out.

You quit without a policy or a plan. Let's see how you make it work.

Generali. They are morons. They have no idea what they have done.

Half my job is dealing with European grant funding. Research, mobility, investment. Its all about to disappear so some some sparsely educated cretins can swagger around waving flags.

I literally cannot believe what has happened.

looking at the stats over the last year

    the ft100 high was 6,338
    the low was 5,788
    currently 6,013

I think a reasonable person might consider that the price of oil, the situation in china, the problems of the S America, the elections in USA and brexit all may have affected the markets

Obviously other things have affected the FTSE, I did not suggest otherwise.

Your stats are incorrect, the ftse high was approx 6,844 over the last year and the low was approx 5,537

Why is it that no one who sponsored Leave online can spell, form a sentence grammatically correctly, or determine where they need to use their shift key?

Oh wait I know why. Now they will expect us to sort out the colossal mess they have dropped us in, while it slowly filters into their tiny minds that money doesn't appear in their bank accounts and goods in their shops by magic.

probably because generous, open minded, intelligent people, willing to engage with all the peoples of the world concerned themselves with grander issues; it is the toxic hate filled people who nit pick and wet their pants when confounded for by a Turk.
Remind me what is you attitude to unlimited immigration and unlimited free move of people?

Three quarters of young people under 30 voted remain and in contrast the over 65's voted overwhelmingly Brexit....of course they won't be around to see their legacy!

That shows the 24 hour fluctuation, not one year!

I think you mean 'we' not 'you'.

Or are you another one who's only happy to be part of the group when it delivers the result you want?

The strange thing is the general mood everywhere seems very sombre?
    Or is it just me.

The total vote was only 72% of the population (not 100%), that is the point that he is making.

I know the point you were trying to make...

I didn't make the point, I merely attempted to explain the other poster's point that you were replying to (it wasn't me).
