You went to McDonalds twice.....in one day....

    Madness.

Anyway write a letter and tell them to check the CCTV again. Ask the manager of the store for assistance. If you've kept the receipts then enclose a copy of them. If you used your card both times you might have a record of the two transactions on your statement.

    What proof do they want?

Assume this was ANPR and you were double dipped.

You need to request the logs of the ANPR for that day and it is up to MET to prove their statement

No receipts. Used cash and ive been there so many times and sometimes they dont even issue receipts when placing orders.
I did tell MET to check cctv but they insist that they just have the two captures one entering at 20:19 on the 5/6/2016 with not a very clear image of the number plate and then exiting at 23:17 on the same day with a clearer image of number plate...
Im guessing they want further proof from me to support my case, I dont have any further proof...What can I send them....
I was going to go and see the manager at mcdonalds and ask if they can do anything....
I have 14 days from now
Met have wrote in the letter:
In order for us to look into your appeal fully can you kindly provide us with some further evidence to support your case in order to determine whether your vehicle had visited this site twice like you stated in your letter of appeal...

But, they will say that. They need to prove to you that they are correct and providing the logs for that day will do that

If it's some where you frequent often why not try the drive through, even you get to the payment window tell then what's happened and then tell m to cancel. if they wont, get out of your car leaving it in the drive through lane and ask to speak to the franchise manager.

The "crew" can't do anything at all.

A friendly chat not under any pressure will yield a better result.

    Do both.

Hopefully McD will get this sorted, but even if they agree to, you need to continue fighting your corner with the PPC until they confirm it has been cancelled.

Hi all update on what has happened so far.
I contacted Mcdonalds and they say cannot do anything..
After MET asked for more proof, I did appeal online again to met parking saying that I want logs for the day and told them to cancel fine and stated the following:
    23/06/2016
    Dear Sir/Madam,
    Re: PCN No. MPxxxxxxxx
I’m challenging this Parking Charge Notice as keeper of the vehicle and I will complain to the landowner about the matter if it is not cancelled.
I believe your faulty ANPR system is in error and has failed to record multiple (2) visits to the car park on the date of the alleged contravention.
The driver has entered the car park on the alleged entry time recorded by your faulty ANPR system (05/06/2016 20:19) and has exited the site after approximately 15 minutes of the alleged recorded entry time. The driver then returned to the car park approximately 10 minutes prior to the alleged exit time recorded by your faulty ANPR system and has exited again on the alleged exit time recorded by your faulty ANPR system (05/06/2016 23:17).
Therefore I challenge this Parking Charge Notice since the alleged reason for the contravention stated as ‘Parked for longer than the maximum period permitted’ is deemed false and falls under fraud attempt. Your access of the DVLA database was therefore without cause.
You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.
I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.
    Yours faithfully,
Not heard anything from them yet, what shall I do next.
    Any help much appreciated thanks.....
