Takes a month or more to get a reply to an appeal and a POPLA code. Patience.

POPLA appeals need to be constructed - there's no template.

Plenty of examples to take bits from if you search

No such template. In fact no POPLA templates at all. But, there are loads of examples. To find these you need to use the forum search engine and use search phrases like 'Double dipping POPLA', 'MET POPLA', 'ANPR POPLA'. Use any relevant examples and adapt to your circumstances. Use only examples from around April 2016 onwards. 99% of POPLA appeals via the forum are done this way.

Go back to the forum landing page (the list of threads, one page back from here), just above the sticky threads, on the right, is a heading along a line, next to forum tools, called 'Search this Forum'. Put your key word(s) in and change the default search from 'Show Threads' to 'Show Posts'.

Come back with your draft POPLA appeal for critique.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Search 'MET POPLA' (or another search term like those suggested by Umkomaas) which is exactly what the NEWBIES thread post #3 tells poeple to do at this stage. Then show us the draft you put together from the other MET ones you read. DO NOT look at results older than 2016 because we don't want to see a heading 'no pre-estimate of loss' PLEASE. If you are reading that, the example is too old.

You will find what is effectively several 'templates' by searching - suddenly you will see one like yours and 'bingo!' the job is almost done except for the odd tweak and checking with us before you submit it.

Just be really clear not to even read pre-2016 ones and not one with 'no GPEOL' as an argument.

Originally I Appealed online to MET parking and stated that "I visited Mcdonalds twice the day of the incident within the timescale they say" so can I still mention that I have not declared who the driver was when appealing to POPLA,
    Thanks....
