Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

Hi
Just got confirmation of my out of contract pricing for Sky TV but I'm a little confused. They are offering another 12 months on discounted pricing but there is no mention of a contract length. Is this a one year contract? Is this standard now?
Cheers

It's a rolling 31 day notice contract.
The price will probably rise next April.2 -
I spoke to them this morning it's a 12 month interim contract with the Apr price increase but there was another offer in the app but I can't launch it. I gave them a ring as it suggested but they were none the wiser. My dad has an offer through the app which is better than the email offer. Hopefully it will launch at some point. It would be nice to have a base to work from.
Cheers

There's no reason I'm aware of that would lead to the "deals prices" following later, the email you've received is likely to be what they've put you on. Have you checked your account online for future bills?

Seems a decent deal was this a cancellation deal?
Cheers

Sort of. Sky screwed up my account so I had a contract end date later than it shouldve been. I was also asking to add Broadband, which probably added to the deal. I agreed to the Broadband and TV deal (not BT Sport), but have since cancelled the Broadband to stay with BT as they suddenly offered me a better deal, once Sky contacted the to say I was moving. Im just hoping Sky stick to the offered prices as Ive not had an email confirmation yet ( I do have copies of the online conversations as proof though).

But who do you complain to ?
What / Who is the top level within Sky - that nobody will argue against ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.1 -
Comcast. And to save you the trouble of the next inevitable question, no, I don't think they will release you from the Priority Customers team who are there to help you.
