arsenal888 said:Hi, I have just rejected the last Sky phone call offer after cancelling and switch off is next week. They increased the offer amount slightly from 2 weeks ago so asked for that, but they couldn't do that. What is my best tactic now? Just to wait till its switched off and then wait for an offer in the next month or actively ask to re-sign up again on live chat etc.? I have Sky Signature and Sky Sports and was offered £42.50 (24 months contract). Can they do it for cheaper than this? Thanks in advance for any advice.2

You need to serve 30 days notice to cancel then after tv has gone completely off for 1 day call up rejoin team barter down price to signature £10 kids free HD free, sky sports £6 sky sports hd free, sky cinema £5 tnt sports £20 ultra hd £1 multi screen £5 neltflix premium £11
Sky have 5 lines of defence
First line .- very expensive prices + very expense fee
Second line - retentions approx 10% off + expense fee
Third line - before notice gets put in approx 15% discount + cheaper fee
Forth line - in 30 day notice period pending cancel team approx 30% discount + cheaper fee
Fifth line- when tv is fully off speaking to rejoin team to get above offers + no fee

Hi all, I recently called to cancel and got my out of contract £160 bill (broadband with boost, sky sports, cinema, kids, UHD, ultimate Netflix) down to £79 (no sports, cinema or Netflix). I have this deal for a week, so will have to call up and decide. I’ve seen other deals like at Virgin offering pretty much what I have atm for under £70. Also have issues with sky go on laptop that I forgot to mention. Will try and get them to match £70 one next week. Thoughts on the offer and what to do next?0

Advice ? Separate the b/band from TV deal - should be able to get full fibre b/band @ £26 elsewhere - TV deal for Signature/kids /HD/UHD - wouldn't pay more than £321 -

Currently paying £98/mth for broadband, sports, netflix, and tv package ( no movies ), quoted £138 to renew, called and 'negotiated' down to £107, still think this was too much so cancelled 2 weeks ago.
Since then nothing from sky, no calls, no messages offering a deal.
Will they message me, have I done anything wrong, should I call again to try to get a better deal.
Been with them 26 years, although I guess they prefer new customers.1 -

The TV service can be restored in hours if not minutes as long as you still have the kit.1 -

Hi, so I have given notice to terminate my Sky Q package after 10 years. It’s set to cancel on 4th September.
My current package is:
· Sky Signature
· Sky Sports
· Sky Cinema
· HD/UHD
· Multiscreen
Price set to increase to £107.50! Hence the cancellation. Ideally, I would like to keep the same package and my Netflix deal has now ended so would like to add standard or premium to my deal as I have read about peoples successes adding these to their packages. Do you think I could get a better deal than the £59 they are offering with Netflix (with ads)? I was going to give them an opportunity to keep me as customer in my last week of cancellation, but I have read letting it cancel for the day is the best way to get a better deal. Any help would be appreciated.
