Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

I can't believe how quickly 18 months has rolled around again. And frankly I'm down with the lurgy so I have absolutely no energy for this fight again right now. So I just called and cancelled, and made it very very clear that I was not engaging in any haggling at all. All done in 5 minutes, I'm thinking that must be some sort of record!
To be honest, my last round was just... depressing. It took weeks of arguing, them making promises and reneging on them, rinse and repeat. I need my weetabix before I dive back in. That said, if anyone can give me a ballpark target on this package, I'd be grateful:
TV Only (Q)
- Signature
- Sky sports complete including Sky Sports +
- Sky Cinema
- TNT Sports
- Netflix Ultimate
- Paramount + basic
- Kids package (I can definitely ditch this)
- UHD
- Multiscreen with 3 miniboxes (I could cut down but not sure 1 or 3 makes a difference)
My last contract was signed at about £95, they are offering online at £144 for 2 years (obviously not!), what's realistic?

Given all the tooth pulling that went into getting £95 last time, I'd find £85 to be astonishing. Are they being especially generous right now?Easylinkselecta said:

They aren’t, it would be close to a miracle to get from £144 to £85…artyboy said:

Here's some prices available for new customers on a 24 month contract via Stream : Sky Essential TV £15 per month for Sky Atlantic, Showcase , sports news, sports mix, sport racing, Netflix with ads and Discovery+ or for an extra £7 (£11 from April) Sky Ultimate.0

What is skys definition of a "new customer" ?Surely - if someone cancels and comes back - they are not a new customer ?How long do you have to wait to become a new customer ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -
has anyone had any joy in bring able to cancel TV in contract due to the increases? Mine are another set that with offers applied is over the 10% increase0

Recently cancelled Sky.
Ordered a Freeview box that can record on a memory stick.
The interface is massively "clunky" but at less than £19 - it's a lot less than a month's subscription to SKY

It works fine with a cheapo indoor aerial too!

I'll be dusting off my trusty 2012 1TB Humax Freesat box on Monday. Cancelled SKY and moving to the Discovery + app for cycling.Alberto_Frog said:Recently cancelled Sky.
