As we just had the signature package I doubt Sky will view us as a significant financial loss to their business despite our 27 years with them.
The return box arrived this morning so I will pack the sky Q equipment into the box and post it back to them on Monday..
The only real thing we miss is the familiarity of the sky EPG.
Even the EPG is not as good on Q as previous boxes (HD) - Lacking REMINDERS !!
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -

Sky Signature & Multiscreen. What kind of price for those?
EDIT No internet or phone as that's via BT.
They phoned today offered £30.50 with admin fee refunded as credit so was taken.
Let's Be Careful Out There0 -

I'm quite happy to return all their old equipment and maybe in a years time rejoin and get all brand new again.........seems like they would rather waste money doing that0 -
My Sky TV contract ends in a month or so, I’m thinking of cancelling and taking Now TV.My question is if I’m not too keen on it could I go back to Sky using my current Sky+HD box or would they insist I upgrade to Q/Stream.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0

I Currently have the following for £58 per month, rising to £72.50
Sky Signature
Sky Sports HD
Sky HD
Ultra HD
Netflix premium
Best they could offer was £71 with £20 admin charge, so have put in my 31 days cancellation1 -
I have just been offered the following as now out of contract:
Service - Current price - New price offered
Sky Signature - £36.50 £24.50
Ultimate TV (Netflix) £8.00 £10.50 (Netflix Standard 2 device no ads)
Sky Kids £7.00 £3.00
Sky Cinema £19.00 £10.00
Sky HD £9.00 £5.00
Multiscreen £15.00 £13.00
Ultra HD £4.00 £2.00
Total cost Current £98.50, new price offered £68.00
Saving £30.50 per month but requires a new 24 month contract plus the £10 admin fee.
I haven't threatened to cancel, just asked for a better deal using the online chat.
I asked them to knock another £8 off per month and they said no and went on to tell me it is a great deal as it includes the April 2024 price rise already. I found that an odd selling point as that was 6 months ago so of course it does, it does highlight that it doesn't include the coming April 2025 increase though! And then the 2026 increase that I would still be in contract for so forced to accept.
I am going to ask them to cancel some of the services and see if they offer a further improvement on the price to keep it all.0
