HD is available on Sky+ and always has been.

Sky+ certainly couldn't do HD when it was launched, back in 2002, as Sky HD didn't start until 2006.

Ok. Certainly available now though on Sky+ boxes as my Dad still uses it. He couldn’t cope with the change to Sky Q.
