  • Was paying £47 then up to £53 from April.
Put cancellation in 2 weeks ago at end of contract as they wanted £92, dropping to £66 when I rang them.
    Told them no thanks.
Yesterday through post was a leaflet offering all I've got now, signature, sports, netflix premium, hd/uhd for £54, which I accepted.
Not brilliant but only £1 more than I was paying so I'm happy.

I to got an email claiming I was saving X amount and needed to do nothing....but looking at future bills there is an increase from Nov 24 of almost £5 per month.  I have had enough 26 years with them
They do miss the point that you can cancel and make a huge savings. I have 25+ years with them!!!
  • Broadband I was offered 500mb for £32 but of course with the two price rises over 24 months. I was paying £27 before for 150mb. The best they can do on that is £37.

I get 1gb for £27.99 FFTP from Youfibre, a bargain
  • Similar story here when my contract finished and my bill shot up to the usual non-contract price of £112.
I pretty much have everything - HD, UHD, Cinema, Sport, Signature, Multiroom, Netflix.

First offer was around £86 and no matter how many times I went back into chat this didn't improve.
Gave notice - not one called during this period.

Went back to online chat the day before my services were getting turned off and no improvement.
Got cut off, waited a day (they sent out all the return packaging), and after 2 days without Sky I went onto the review my options page and onto the live chat.

Got all the above my same package for £61, with the first 3 months at £52.50. Wouldn't waiver the £10 admin but they chucked in another minibox. Was offered a cheaper deal with Netflix basic, but didn't want the ads so settled on this.

Pricing for each element slightly different than above but comes in roughly the same amount. So if you don't get a good deal the first time around, have the b@lls to get switched off!

PS All your recordings stay on the box so they were all there when the service was switched back on over the phone.
I'm in a similar situation, approaching the end of the notice period and I've only had the two 'standard' discount offer emails. Did you have to hardball for a discount, or did you just ask about options for rejoining and they offered those sorts of prices?

Sadly we don't have any open fibre to the door networks, just Open reach which means being tied to the expensive networks. Having checked around £32 for 500mb seems reasonable really. The closest is Now 300mb at £30 (which is Sky anyway).
  • My sky contract ends on the 22 November, I am paying £25.50 for signature package.I received a letter today stated the price is going up to £26.50. No contract. I believe it’s hard to get a good deal from them at the moment, so I will probably just accept the increase. Is anyone getting any deals on the signature package?
    Thanks
  • So, we gave Sky notice last month and have been without their TV services for the past week. They offered all singing & dancing package for £83.50, but we said no. Various online chats with no success.

Tonight we got offered on a telephone call the following:-
    Signature £17
    Kids £0 for 2 months, then £7
    Cinema £5
    Sports HD £2
    Sports Complete £6
    Multiscreen £5
    Credit to bill £50

Total £35 for 24 months (if we don't want Sky Kids) with a guarantee of a maximum increase of 10% over that period. (This also includes Netflix with Ads as standard)

Nice result and a huge saving!

Astonishingly good deal - back to the days when 75% discounts were relatively commonplace - the apparently random nature of the offers ! My s-i-l has recently cancelled and hasn't been offered anything like as good.
In fact he has decided to go to EE/BT for everything

I've only just reached the end of an 18 month Sky deal, which is taken out mostly for the sport. How does your s-i-l think they compare, I don't know anything about EE/BT?
