Rang sky on April 24 to sort new deal. On sig, bb35, multiroom,hd, neflix, cinema.
After a few deptartments price no good so 32 Days notice to cancel.text rec'd saying ending in 2 days (even though I said 32 days notice) Then a prepaid package text + txt to ring if changed mind. All in space of minutes. Rang no and discussed w/agent. Long call, as trying diff combinations of offers. when 'confirming your sky offer' email came the total amount was less than phone call. I thought maybe found some more discounts.
Only netflix/bb showed in future bills until 30 may (30+ days later),as told issue with billing at sky end
future bills £5.50 more, now show sky Sig as £20,50 and BB as £30. Rang to query this they said email which was sent out was with incorrect price details on Sig and BB,the new prices are due to April increase. I said shouldnt the prices include increase that if I'm ringing up at backend of April be the price in the email going forward knowing 2025 increase in April next year+ the April bill before I cancelled showed the increase (march was 88 ,April £99, may £140 odd (when prev contract ended).

My deals have ended and I'm now paying:
£52.50 for sky signature, ultimate tv add on, sky HD. I was previously paying £27.
The only way I could find to contact sky was through the text response and couldn't find a human live chat (is it still possible?)
Anyway, the best they could do for the same package was £42 and then £40 with the £10 admin fee. Given this represents a 50% price increase, after multiple requests to cancel the package if they couldn't do it for £30 (a 10% increase) I finally got text confirmation of the 31 day cancellation period to begin.
Is there any alternative way for me to contact them for a better deal like live chat or a phone number to call? Based on previous offers on the last few pages, £18 for sky signature, £10.50 for netfllix, £4 for HD and a possible £3/£4 monthly discount to counteract the admin fee, so £30ish per month doesn't seem unreasonable?

@Jamesdeer001 You can get that package for a lot less than that. You need to give cancellation notice though, if you haven't already or you won't get anything worth taking. You have 31 days before it switches off but then wait for them to come to you. Don't accept the first offer unless it's great (it won't be). The best deals are now offered after it's completely switched off, this is when I suggest you contact them but there's no guarantee you'll get one. However if all you have is Signature and Netflix, and you don't watch many Sky only channels, my advice is to completely ditch them. So much is available online now from fta apps. I did and don't miss Sky but I'm aware everyone is different. Only take a deal you're 100% happy with and remember to factor in the annual price increases. There are also phone numbers available online if you search you can call, they are on the Sky website, as well as a live chat link. Once you've put in cancellation notice though, and if your contact permissions in your Sky account are set to on, you will get sent offers with a contact link/details.0

Thanks, as I said I have given cancellation notice today.
My wife wants to keep a sky q box and still likes to watch tele in the traditional way and is prepared to pay something for it so I'm still hoping to get a reasonable deal for signature, ad free netflix and HD around the £30 mark...
In terms of the live chat I could only see a bot option, not a human option so would appreciate a bit of help as to where to find it?0 -

@Jamesdeer001 Here is a Come Back to Sky email offer I've just received. Obviously I no longer have any products with them and have returned the Q Box. It doesn't say how much extras such as HD are but the overall cost will be a lot less than you're being offered, and they want me to contact them to find out but I'm not. I'm just posting this to give you an idea of what's available if you play the Sky renew game properly. An engineer will come out to set up, there's an extra £15 fee for a weekend appointment for this and also a £10 admin fee.

Contacted Sky a day after my Sky HDTV were fully cancelled.
Managed to get the same deal (prior the price increase) I had previously along with £20 bill credit + new Sky Q box with no set up fee's (had the HD box since 2017). 18 month contract.
Also moved from Sky VIP gold to platinum.
Sky Signature £20.00
Sky Sports Complete Pack £14.00
Sports HD £2.00.

The world has gone mad. My Sky contract ended two days ago - I only realised when I saw the increase in my direct debit from £86 to £100. I got Signature, Sports, Cinema, Multiscreen and Netflix plus HD. I called 0344 241 4141 to say I wasn't happy at the lack of notice re the contract end and the increase in my ddr (I'm pretty sure that they're supposed to give 10 days notice of any change in amount under the direct debit scheme) and could we agree a new contract. Upshot is I'm on a rolling contract for 12 months and they're not able to offer me a contract and the best they could do was to reduce the monthly amount to £99. I quoted some of the deals that my "friends" had received (from this forum but without mentioning it) of circa £70/75 and it got me nowhere. Every previous occasion that i have renegotiated it has always been very straightforward, easy in fact... not this time. They did offer to reduce my rolling contract to £92 in June 25... What use it that. 30 years + as a customer and they're basically telling me to take or or leave. From reading this forum their tactics seems to vary with most being offered deals but some not which is odd but has anyone got any advice other than cancel? Plus anyone else stuck on a rolling contract?0

Well after paying £55 and not really getting them lower than £68 I cancelled a few days ago. Today they sent an email offering Signature, Cinema and Sports for £49.50. The end result was I accepted £63 a month which was really because they discounted Netflix without ads where previously the £68 offer was Netflix with ads. Could have played chicken a bit longer but couldn't be bothered anymore so to be fair considering it's a chore dealing with them now I'll take what given. Conversation if it helps someone is below.

Started the dance today. 31 days notice gone in. I only have TV.The agent said they could switch off my package immediately and refund the rest of this month's charges to save me money. I was wary of doing that though as, even though I'm outside of the minimum term, it seems to be against the T&Cs and I might have been charged anyway?
From looking in future bills, it appears that my existing discounts (not due to expire until next year) have been removed as of my next bill date, so I'll have a few days paying full price before the end of the 31 days - is that normal?0
