got a text message from sky today, but it was a let down, it just said to phone them or go to www.sky.com/reviewmyoptions which ive already done twice but was offered an average deal :(
thought id try the live chat again for a 3rd time to see if any movement in the prices and there isnt, they keep offering me the same deal for £81 which is as follows

    Sky Signature - £21 (18 Months) Full price £32

    Sky HD - £4 (18 Months) Full price £8

    Sky Cinema - £12 (18 Months) Full price £12

    Sky Multiscreen - £10 (18 Months) Full price £15

Sky Sports Complete package - £9 (18 Months) Full price £32

    BT Sports - £25 (18 Months) Full price £28

getting a bit disheartening now, ive been in the cancellation period for just over 2 weeks and was hoping to have this sorted by now, ive been a customer for 19 years but they just dont seem willing to budge on the price

  • Just managed a fairly good deal I think.

I was paying £77 for Sky+ HD with sports which is high, made worse by the fact that my HD box is not in the best of health with frequent freezing and resets needed.. Managed to get Sky Q UHD, Sports and Netflix UHD for £48, which is close to new customer rate so happy with that.

11 days left to my cancellation and still no offers received from sky, they're either leaving it late or calling my bluff lol been a customer for 19 years and am top tier VIP, thought for sure id have received something by now

I did two months of Freeview before I was offered my new deal.  So you will probably get something, at some point. They had even refunded my last little bit of money before I got a phone call one evening.  It is nice to have it back, easier to use than Freeview, more stations and they near enough gave me Sky Sports, so I could cancel the Now Sports package.  Saved £46 a month.

If I could get Signature, HD and Sports for those prices ie £34 I would be happy, at present paying £33, best so far is £41 but only cancelled week ago

I contacted Sky this morning on Live Chat to try and reduce my package down to the lowest possible, as my mortgage costs are set to increase shortly and I really need to save the pennies!

I was paying £28.85 a month for Signature, HD, Ultimate TV and Cinema. To my surprise they offered TV Essentials for £5 a month, even though I'm still in contract. I have to remain with them until June 23 when my original contract comes to an end, but I save £23.85 a month in the meantime and can still use the recording facilities for the free channels.

Do you have your broadband with them? Thanks

hadn't received any offers by post or email so decided this time to give them a phone on the number 03337 594 464 to see what they can do for me price wise as my contract due to expires in 7 days, spoke to a nice man and he offered me the following

    Sky Signature - £17 (18 Months) Full price £32

    Sky HD - £4 (18 Months) Full price £8

    Sky Cinema - £12 (18 Months) Full price £12

    Sky Multiscreen - £10 (18 Months) Full price £15

Sky Sports Complete package - £8 (18 Months) Full price £32

    BT Sports - £25 (18 Months) Full price £28

    = £76 total

I had been paying £81.50 for the previous 18 months so a slight reduction, I just went ahead and accepted/signed new 18 month deal, had been hanging out for 3 weeks with this being the best deal offered and just wanted it done and dusted.
