Yup - when I "negotiated" with them about 3-4 years ago ,there were lots of customers posting good offers on here and elsewhere - my first conversation ,the agent basically called me a liar ! , wouldn't offer me very much at all so I cancelled. Ended up getting a 50%+ discount on listed prices on a later call.Mat_Lock said:
and this is why I hate SKY because it's just so inconsistent. Jokes that some get unreal offers and others terrible ones.FUrake said:
pmsl, that must be the best deal in history, nice one, would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of a future bill so others can prove to sky how cheap some people are getting it, I dont think the lady on livechat believed me when I mentioned some of the prices ive seen others get on here!mits999 said:We cancelled the LOT after being cut off for 2 weeks they have offered and we have accepted

Didn't get anywhere with Sky, with them 9 years, I went on to the live chat hoping to get a deal, said BT was cheaper I was going to go with them. Okay he says, I will put through your request now, is there anything else I can help you with.0

Ok, couldnt get this it seems, it didnt update, and on calling the cheapest I could get was £68, no admin fee.FUrake said:
thanks for this, thats not too far off what they offered me, they offered me £81 for the same stuff except with BT sport aswell which is £25, so £56 for the same package you haveshawry_99 said:
Not sure it was the same link, as I did it via the app, but the deal I signed up to on Friday was automatic, I didnt have to call.FUrake said:last time I handed in my 31 day notice (18 months ago) I had offers appear on the following link, www.sky.com/mydeal, have tried accessing this today but doesnt seem to work, have they got rid of that? how has everyone received their offers, email mainly? anyone had any success using the www.sky.com/reviewmyoptions link and talking to someone on the live chat? cheers
Sky Q - Multiscreen, Signature, Cinema, Sports complete, HD, and Sports HD. cost £53 reduced from £101.
Seems too good to be true though, so waiting for my future bill section to update.

almost 2 weeks now since I started the 31 day cancellation period and no offers received yet by post or email, hope they aren't calling my bluff lol0

It's important to check you have your marketing permissions turned on. Otherwise legally they can't contact you with any offers!FUrake said:almost 2 weeks now since I started the 31 day cancellation period and no offers received yet by post or email, hope they aren't calling my bluff lol1 -
I double checked to make sure and I do have marketing permissions turned on! cheersBluestraw said:

I cancelled last week.Got a call today, best they can do is:
Sky signature, broadband and Netflix for £58 and 18 month contract
Which is more expensive than what they offered before I cancelled 🙈0 -
So I’m now 6 days into not having Sky and to be honest , it’s quite liberating. The longer it goes on the less likely we’ll have it back and save my £75 a month. It’s a little unusual not having live TV and being able to pause it but we’re getting used to it.0

So after making a big fuss about HD , ultra HD has appeared in my VIP offers free for 18 months.jacquelinec said:
They rang me next day and added HD back on for no extra charge.jacquelinec said:I have signature , HD, sports, BT sport and multiroom. Since my contract expired my bill has gone from £75 to £92. My offers on chat have been £86 then £80. I had a review your options message and got offered £72. Then I had another message and was offered £69 .
On cut off day last week I had another message to review.I said there was actually no point in BT sports as the moment as nothing on there for a couple of months So was offered £39 without BT , so was happy with that .
However they took the HD off as well. I spent an hour on the phone speaking to 5 different people. I was offered HD for £3 month with £20 credit . I said no the HD at £3 month would cost me £54 . The verbal contract was just taking BT off and I'm not paying any extra . They said would call back the next day ., no call.
I sent another email two days ago saying if they can't call back or resolve this to cancel again . They've not even phoned to activate the cancellation, but have acknowledged the email.
I'm winging it a bit as don't know the best action really . If they forgot to add HD when working out a price I feel they should honour it . They make prices up to suit themselves anyway , so I'm sure they can lose the £3 month somewhere.0 -
got a text message from sky today, but it was a let down, it just said to phone them or go to www.sky.com/reviewmyoptions which ive already done twice but was offered an average deal
