Just signed up to 18 months TV only with signature, sports, movies, kids and Q multi room (HD) for £55.50/month. Ordinarily I would have pushed for more, but (schoolboy error) I realised that I still had 6 months of my contract to run, so I'm actually surprised they didn't tell me to jog on and pay £86/month I was committed to until February.
So good result, and hopefully a useful data point for anyone still on an old contract where the discounts drop off early. For my new one, it's a flat rate for the whole 18 months (ignoring inflation increases)0 -
My offer has gone up to £32 a month total as Signature is now £21 (it was £17 last month) but sports have gone down to £10 (was £12 last month) and HD remains the same at £1. Very very strange. I’m currently out of contract and have had Sky switched off a month ago.
Any ideas as to why Signature is so expensive? Is it that we live in a non cabled area?0 -
hawkhurst said:My deal went from £62 to £92 this month for Sky Sports Complete, Cinema, Boxsets, Multiroom, Entertainment.
Threatened to cancel and the best offer they could do was £66 for the same package which I declined and went through with cancellation. 10 minutes later I went to sky.com/mydeal and was able to get the following:
Sky Signature £19 (was £30)
Sky Sports & Cinema £17 (was £41)
Netflix Premium £4 (was £10)
UHD £2 (was £6)
Multiscreen £9 ( was £14)
Total £51 for 18 months.
Could you show me a screenshot of the deal if possible?
Thanks!

Worth noting that I have been offered Sky Cinema for £4 a month- it simply isn’t worth a lot more in the current climate of nothing being produced.0

I'm getting upgraded to a Sky Q 1TB box with Sky cinema and HD for £39 with no arrangement fee which for an existing customer was £199.
After seeing some of the deals others are getting I wonder if I should have tried for less.

I'd still say that's a good deal Ron. Some of it comes down to how much time you're willing to spend negotiating with Sky. I might have been able to get my deal a bit lower but after a while I just didn't want to spend any more time on it (or deal with cancelling and then waiting for a better deal to follow after my Sky got turned off).1

Cancelled Sky+ hd back in Feb. Quite a few times got mailings through the post for Sky Signature for £17 per month on an 18 month contract. Received a new mailing the other day saying 'come back to sky for £13 per month'. When queried with online chat, they confirmed it was the Signature package (as there was no mention of this in the letter) on an 18 month contract. Wouldn't move on the admin fee0
