Cancelled over the phone early last week was on an old legacy variety package with 70% off for last 3 years but wouldn't offer anything decent this time round had Sky+ HD box, sports, cinema, kids, HD. Bill going to over £105 from £57.
Had an email last night £15 entertainment, £1 boxsets, £1 kids, £1 hd, £13 sports, £11 movies and £20 broadband.
Went onto online chat this morning had to prove the email i received by sending screen grabs. After nearly two hours on the chat managed to get:
Entertainment, Sky Kids Pack, Sky Box Set Pack, Sky HD pack, Sports and Cinema pack and multi-screen for £47.50 a month for 18 months as well as Sky Q 2TB box and mini box for £20 one off fee including installation. I also asked for netflix which they wouldn't add on for free.
Couldn't do much with the broadband £20 a month for the broadband essentials with pay as you talk for 18 months with a one off £10 fee which they eventually waived.0 -
Thank you for your response - Yes I was paying up to 100 each month...I still have the documentation/bank statements - I will forward to OFCOM.
Thanks again!0 -

You need to know how much your monthly contract was, and then how much they were actually taking from you. That all sounds very odd, if you were overpaying. Once you have that and proof, first port of call would be Sky to get refund of what they owe0 -

when people talk about going through mydeal do they actually have a deal on the page or is it just the chat button?
I dont have anything other than the chat button and thats only when i dont get a 404 error
'.../live-chat/pending-cancel-tv', or a 404 error.
Same thing with the .../keepskytv posted link.
Thanks!0 -
I wouldn't mind an answer to this as well, please! Get the same thing - either a redirect to
'.../live-chat/pending-cancel-tv', or a 404 error.

Thanks!
Any assistance will be hugely appreciated! I cancelled on Sunday after being offered a significant 'discount' that was much more expensive than my previous discounts!
Thanks again all.0 -

There's a shame, I liked Live Chat. I guess it's just a phone call or Messenger from now on.0 -
I've used the chat in the last few days, so it's definitely still available.
I think it maybe more difficult to get to but it is there with bit of digging.0 -
Just got offered:
Entertainment, Sports, Boxset, Kids, HD (my existing package) for £26pm (+£10 admin fee) from £76
I've been on £76 for the last 3 months until i emailed to cancel. They rang back and offered me this straight off.
(my offer last 18 months was £31 for the same.)
This in On SkyHD+ box
Didn't bother haggling, took it.0
