Just to make people are the mydeal offer of £39 for everything except bband has now ended and been increased to around £50 (non sky Q). Not sure if this affected others.0

That’s decent. Is that for everything?0

After MUCH back and forth, live chats to phone chats, retentions to win back and every other department I can conclude the system is absolute random and by their own admission, pants.
Gold VIP Member, this is what I ended up with;
Sky Entertainment
Sky Sports Pack HD
Box Sets
Kids
HD
Q Experience (multi room)
Free Sky Q2TB Upgrade free install
Free Multi-room Box free install
£48 p/m 18 months
Sky Superfast Broadband (top one)
Line Rental
Pay as you talk
Boost
£25 p/m 18 months
It's funny because this is all active now and I have an offer to reduce something by £1 per month and Ultimate (netflix) upgrade for £0 (latter being one month only)0 -
@antispam246 May I ask how you contacted those different departments? I always seem to get through to the same place who just don't seem to have decent offers available...
Mostly internal transfers from generic sky number.
Without specifically recalling which departments they go to, these are the numbers I've been using
A week into cancellation from text message to review options 03337 594 455
0330 041 3000 (possibly main with internal transfers)
0800 759 0420 (being called during cancellation)0 -
Need to give them a call, gone from being on £21.77pm for all the full Sky TV package to £86.50pm. We are on the old Sky+ box but would like to go to SkyQ. Fingers crossed.0

That time of the year for me.
Was on complete sky+ hd package including fibre for £65.
Placed cancellation in this week and its been about 4 days.
Have nothing on mydeal page. On one page i found sports and cinema and nothing else for 34 and that's it. No emails and no calls although may be early in the period.
Have been on chat a couple of times and can get close to current deal but ideally want UHD now. That's where the deals stop on chat. Cant get anything for skyq.
Thing is we have prime and Netflix and im not sure sky is worth it anymore.
Does anyone do the deals separately. I.e fibre before the 14 day period and then tv later on?
Also it would be helpful if more people noted the time after they have cancelled and when they got offered the deals.
Also are people noticing deals getting better close to switch off date?0 -
I’m on my last day of cancellation. I’ve renewed my broadband at £25 per month for 18 months but been on chat and had a few emails all of which came to the same amount that I’m paying now. Despite being told what a valued customer I am and being a platinum VIP member I only get offered the same as an offer I can get through work.
No offer of Sky Q boxes.
Happy to sit it out and try without Sky.0 -
For some reason i can't edit my post.
Recieved an email tonight. (4 days after cancelling)
Basically the same package I'm on now which is Sky+ HD and all channels except netflix + superfast broadband for £71. More Than what I pay now.
Not interested in that so will leave it0 -
I previously had Entertainment, HD, Kids, Box Sets, Sports HD and Multiscreen for £52 per month (going up to £89 post-deal).
Initial cancellation conversation gave me an offer of £52pm for 18 months, but I really thought I could get something better via the sky.com mydeal link so I let the cancellation proceed. Turns out the online offers were rubbish, and then subsequent chats / phonecalls stuck around the £55 mark, though a couple of them were honest and said to just wait as better deals may well show up later.
Yesterday the 'come back to Sky' chat gave me an offer of £51pm for 18 months (no admin fee), which I decided to take. My 'mydeal' target had been £48 but I lost hope of that ever showing up and as I was late in giving notice I was losing money every day while waiting out my notice at the £89pm price!
Not the perfect result but happy with it.0
