It's going to be a long 30 days for you then...

If you have Sky Q go to the account section after pressing the Home button, online go to your account and you should already have something up there.

Try https://www.sky.com/mydeal. There should be an offer there or try the MySky app if you have that.

Bingo, an offer on the mydeal link.

    Entertainment: £15
    Sports and cinema: £22
    Box sets £1
    HD £1

So £39 so far, no mention of Sky Q multi so assume that’s a standard £13 on top, so £52 all in.

My original bill was £99, and I got offered £69 by retentions.

That seems a good deal to me, but the entertainment, sports and cinema are for 12 months, debating trying the live chat to upgrade to 18 months

I have a Sky HD 2TB box and have just started my 31 days cancellation period. Over the phone was offered:

    Ent £20
Sports £20 for 6 months then £28 for 12 months
    HD £1
    Kids £1

£42 pm rising to £50 pm after 12 months

Going to https://www.sky.com/mydeal is the only place I've seen SKY offer a 12 month contract:

    Ent £15
    Sports £17
    HD £1
    Kids £1

    £34 p/m on a 12 month contract

The only thing I've seen someone get better is Ent £11 p/m

My problem is that would be on the existing box and as it's 12 months don't think they'd let me upgrade to Sky Q 1TB for £20 install like they offered a couple of weeks back.

Do the offers get any better as you reach the end of the 31 days?

Has anyone got a decent deal going from HD box to SKY Q at the point of cancellation?

    Thanks

I had the same offer but am on Sky HD 2TB rather than Q.

    Are you already on Q?
  • Yeah on Q already, haven’t called up yet waiting to see if get another offer, but plan to push for 18 months and take that offer

Probably not from Sky (they may still have some for emergencies) but you could always buy your own second hand.

You can pay Sky £65 one-off charge or sign up to Sky Protect for 6 months @£10 a month but both of these will replace your 2TB box with a 250GB one as they don't provide bigger boxes these days.

The option I was considering was to buy a used box from eBay for under £50 but then there is the risk of it not lasting long.

Sky are trying to migrate everyone to SKY Q so at some point you are going to be pretty much forced into it.
