I hope you did not cancel your broadband.

If you did then your broadband can go off within 14 days and also within the 14 days you can not go to any other broadband providers as sky have a stop on your line.

If you got to virgin then the above will not matter.

Thank you. I only cancelled the TV. I checked if a cancellation locked the line and they said it did so told them to leave it active and I'll do a line take over if need be.

    So I've been offered:

    Fibremax
    multiroom
    sports and cinema
    Entertainment

    Basically everything bar Netflix.

They've offered £86/month but that is what I'm currently paying. I want more discount than that as there is no new equipment they need to factor in now.

If they can't come lower I think I'll go elsewhere. Talktalk are doing 60mb+ fibre for equivalent of £19.12, Sky were offering it for £27 so not that great a deal from Sky there.

Tried getting account credit and extra mini box but they wouldn't budge.

Gone are the days of 60% plus off deals

I have been on a 67% off deal for the last 3 years and Sky will not give me anything remotely as good. I have tried multiple times by phone & web chat.
I would cut the cord completely but others in my household want a PVR with Sky Sports. Looks like I will be moving to Virgin on their VIP package.

The price rise is avoidable if you ask CEO's office

Surely there's an easier way? I've already been through this type of thing with BT when I had really really bad customer service issues with them last year.

Does the cancel it tactic not work now?
