Just haggled a new deal which I’m happy with.

Entertainment for £10 instead of £27
HD and boxsets £2 instead of £10
Sports with HD for £18 instead of £33
Cinema for £11 instead of 19
Multiroom £13

Works out at a about a 47% discount.

My 75% off deal just ended. I have given 31 days notice. They are offering me £15 Ent, £17 sport, £1 kids,£1 box sets, £1 HD,£10 movies. £22 if I take movies and sport together. 12 month contract. On my deal.

Do sky make contact via phone once your in the cancellation period these days or is the emphasis on us to contact via the retention number??

That is what I was told in an email - from 6 weeks ago from Sky - yet today, I received notification of a £2 price rise !!

It means you still get your discount but on the new price.

Simply because Sky has never done fixed price deals, only fixed discounts. The price may change over the term but the discount doesn't.
