My current contract expired...So, I called this morning to get new offer....
My current package:
Entertainment pack, Kids for £13.50
Offered:
Same package for £16
With Sky Sports £34
With New Sky Q (£20 admin Charge)
I tried to reduce the Sky sports from £18 to £15 which I received in past, but couldn't even she couldn't able to void the admin charge.
So, I give the 31 days notice after 8 years with sky.
Will see within next 31 days if any better offer I can have...
What you people say ? is that good offer or not ?0 -

Edit: \sigh, I knew it was coming but I've just checked and my rolling monthly discount goes up to full price in May. I might call early and start the merry go round again.
That's my bad, I put the Sky Sports price in the Entertainment bit in error, though I would say everywhere I've looked and every person I spoke to had the Entertainment pack at £25, not £22.
The HD bit at £2 is just how it all shows on the bill breakdown. Everyone who didn't already have HD for Sports got it upgraded automatically towards the end of last year for £2 when they swapped the channels around.
Thanks, I think I did as well as I could really, though as I said it was originally £50 not £47 but the BB guy on the phone just came out and said he had a better offer than I'd agreed with the chat agent, so that was a bonus.
Good luck with yours, though I'm not sure they'll offer much if you start talking to them now, will they?0 -

It's only £25 on a rolling monthly contract (they don't like to advertise that) but £22 on a 12/18 month contract. They like to make out they're giving you a £3 discount (if paying the full price) but it's all smoke and mirrors as I doubt you could pay £25 for a 12/18 contract even if you wanted to.
I'm coming to the end of an 18 month rolling monthly contract so can leave at any time. It's a 50% discount on the old Boxsets package so I'll see what I can get for Entertainment, HD and maybe Boxsets. I can always request them to set a cancellation date of the end of April (presuming I can) which gives them plenty of time to think about it.
I do have mobile with them which will still be within minimum term for 2 or 3 months(?) but I'm quite happy to ask for my PAC at that time and see if it prods them into action.
I work as a customer service agent so I've got a good feel for how far to push them.0 -
I’m due in March having negotiated 50% off last year.
Is anyone having any luck with Sky Q installations as i’m still
On HD boxes using Sky Eyes. Last year they wanted around £400 to install 5 boxes.
Any progress on that?0 -

How much are you paying now before that deal ends?
Get on webchat and see if you can get close to it again.
In an ideal situation 50% off is probably the holy grail but a lot depends on what you're paying now.0 -
Hi,
I've been with Sky for the last couple of years now and the current services we have with them are:
Sky Talk Line Rental - £18.99
Caller Display - Free
Withhold Number (All Calls) - Free
Sky Broadband Unlimited - £11.01 Discounted already by £7.50 so am paying £3.51
Sky WiFi - Free
Sky Talk Anytime Extra - £8
I am currently paying £30.50 per month which i believe isn't too bad but am still thinking of giving them a call and asking them for further discount. Anyone got any suggestions on the best way to do this and on what services i should ask them for a discount on?
Thanks0 -

I cancelled my Sky and it's gone off today... would like to negotiate something as their previous offers were not great however my circumstances have changed and I have put my house up for sale and will be moving in with family.
Do they still allow you to extend / return to a rolling contract? I know they used to. I probably won't get a great deal but as I just need a few more months now (hopefully!) is it worth doing anything? It just says to ring up when I click on offers in My Sky...0 -

They do rolling monthly contracts at £25 a month for Entertainment only, whether they'll do a deal or not for you is another matter. Call them but don't mention anything about the length of time you want it for, just say you're only only interested in a rolling monthly deal as you don't like being tied down.0
