I've had some success at the first time of trying on the re-negotiation of my SKY Q deal that was due to end next month. I was previously paying £57 on the offer.
I've managed to continue getting every single channel but managed to get the 4k netflix ultimate on demand added too....
Sky sports
sky movies
all kids
all entertainment
Every channel in HD
Ultimate Demand - box sets (4k netflix)
Basically every single channel other than the likes of the extra paid channels.
£61 Per Month
I also paid an additional £69 for another sky q mini box.
Im happy with that - so only paying £4 extra but that's for the netlfix 4k package.0 -
Been with sky 18 years. Was paying around £28 last year with Box sets and movies. After handing in my cancellation notice got the following deal on sky.com/mydeal. Note this is for standard HD box not Sky Q.
Entertainment Pack £13
Cinema £9
Kids £1
HD £1
Total £24/month (12 months) + one off £10 admin fee0 -
Hello,
My contract has risen from £52 to £65 after three years of being static. I get the following:
Sky unlimited broadband (not fibre)
Sky entertainment (not HD)
Sky line rental
Sky sports (not HD)
I am aware I am overpaying based on other people’s offers. I rang up saying the usual statements but only got offered £57. Should I go ahead and cancel to get the better offers?
Thanks,
Rob0 -
I have 6 months left of a 50% discount deal. I’m currently paying about £35 a month for all channels apart from box sets.
I initially had 50% off for 12 months then Sky auto renewed it. So I’m 18 months into a 24 month deal. Great savings.
Now looking at Sky Q.
What are people’s experiences with upgrading to Sky Q in a deal?
I’ve had a bit of a read around. I’m assuming I’d have to pay the extra £12 a month for Sky Q. So would be £45 for 6 months then when I’m back to normal deal nearly £90 a month for all channels for 12 months?
(It actually seems very steep when I write it out.)0 -
my sky q package is just coming to an end and was on a substantial discount of £46 for everything. i took away the sports and got the below deal for £41 a month for 12 months. Not sure if this is a great deal but thought I would post
Here is your package summary:
Sky Entertainment Pack @ £17 pm for 12 months and thereafter £25.00 pm
Sky Kids Pack @ £1 pm for 12 months and thereafter £5.00 pm
Sky Box Set Pack @ £1 pm for 12 months and thereafter £5.00 pm
Sky HD Pack @ £1 pm for 12 months and thereafter £5.00 pm
Cinema Pack @ £9 pm for 12 months and thereafter £18.00 pm
Q Experience (Multiscreen) @ £12.00 pm
So your total monthly cost will be £70.00 per month. (without offer)
£41 a month for 12 months0 -

If it suits yourself then it's a great deal regardless of what anyone else pays.
That said do you actually use multi-room (or any part of the Sky Q Experience)? Sky do like to make out that you can't have Q without the additional £12 a month but it's simply not true.0 -
Hi. Yes we use the additional box for multiscreen (or multi room) as it was formerly. Yes quite happy with the deal will keep the little one happy as well so happy days0

I am aware I am overpaying based on other people’s offers. I rang up saying the usual statements but only got offered £57. How do you get the better offers people talk about, so you actually have to go ahead and cancel? Will they contact me/show up on my skybox/online account?
Also, can you reverse the cancelling if they don’t contact you with a better offer?
Thanks,

Hi Rob
To be honest I did give notice but that was only yesterday then I went on to the chat today to ask about when my deal was ending and ended up being offered the deal - I selected the 'left sky within 12 months ' option and it put me through to new deals I guess and I was just honest with them. Best of luck with it0 -
Hi all
My current package over that expires in a few weeks is:
Box Sets
£23.70 - (£39.50 Discounted by £15.80)
Sky Sports - Complete Pack
£16.80 (£28.00 Discounted by £11.20)
Sky Cinema
£6.00 (£10.00 Discounted by £4.00)
HD Basic
FREE
Sky Sports HD
£2.40 (£6.00 Discounted by £3.60)
Sky Q Multiscreen Pack
£12.00
Total £60.90
I also had some vouchers thrown in when I renewed which took the effective cost down a bit.
This is after the wonderful £42 for everything our first year (74 for Box Sets with Sports & Cinema with a 44 discount and 12 a month for sky q Multiroom!)
Renewal this year coming in close to 70. Appreciate this includes netflix as part of the new box set deal so will save me a fiver there.
Cancelled and 2 weeks into the 4 week period and no attempt to contact (despite all contact options on). What can I expect for a good deal or this is as good as it will get?0
