  • i did have the following for £37/month.

    ent pack
    sport
    movies
    hd
    box sets
    2 tb q box and mini box/multi room (£200 upfront :( )

i had 100 mb broadband with virgin for £22/month

i thought this was a great deal for £37 month sky+ £22 virgin

    have now got... 8th Sept

    fibre max
    entertainment pack
    sports
    movies
    box sets
    hd
multi room with the q box stuff

    £77/month

Not a fantastic deal... it would be about £107 month apparently without 'discounts'.

I have taken a phone based deal.... too busy to play hardball!

If you have the time and patience DONT do this.

Cancel and then leave it a week or so.

You have a better probability of a better deal with web or postal offers from Sky.
  • To help others the deal I negotiated today was:

I'm a Sky Q Box customer with multi screen
    Sky Entertainment £11
    Sky Boxsets £3
    Sky HD £3
    Sky Kids £3
    Sky Cinema £10
    Sky Q Multi Screen £12
    Contract Length 18 months

    Total £42 a month
    Admin Fee £10

    Yesterday I got my dad:

He's a Sky HD Box customer with line rental & unlimited standard broadband
    Sky Entertainment £15
    Sky Boxsets £1
    Sky HD £1
    Sky Kids £1
    Line Rental £8.99
    Broadband Unlimited £3.01
    Sky Contract Length 18 months
Sky Line Rental & Broadband Contract Length 12 months

    Total £30 a month
    Admin Fee £10

Deals are different dependant on the products you have with sky and if you have Sky Q or the older Sky HD boxes
  • The deal I've negotiated is:
Upgrade from sky+ to Sky Q 2TB including mini box - one off £30
    Multi room - £12pm (they wouldn't budge)
    Entertainment - £13
    Kids - £1
    Box sets - £1

Also offered full sports at £10 but thought I'd remove that in place of the multi room cost.

    So £27 per month.

Phone line / fibre unlimited contract ends March 2019 so will negotiate that then. Currently paying £33 for those.
  • I finally resigned to what I think is a pretty good deal, not as good as last year but not bad.

    Sky Entertainment - £20.00
    Sky Box Sets - £1.00
    Sky Sports - £15.00
    Sky HD - £1.00
    Sky Sports HD - £2.00

Sky Fiber Max & Line Rental - £20.00

    Total - £59.00

I thought Sky Sports HD has now been scrapped (with the prices going up to more than cover the loss) or has that not quite happened yet?

I think there is a lot of customers that are not sure what is going on.
Over on the Sky forum customers are getting different info and being charged different prices for the same package.

On the 3 Future bills after my last fully discounted month, Sky Sports HD is still listed as £6 pm:(

I've found in the past that Sky's future bills don't reflect any changes in your billing for a while after. That said, keep on eye on it anyway.
  • Hi

Does anyone know how to 'chat' as an existing customer? I've always used the thinking of cancelling route but this seems to be through 'message' now.

    Many thanks
  • Sorry for the late reply.
I think it was around £15 extra
