They don’t need that to be fair, with your 38mb fibre they were offering it for £70 so still steep.
Just to confirm, did you have an additional multiroom on your package? If not, what should I be aiming to get them down to?
Thanks!0 -
No multi room,so I would look at a figure between £50 to £60 with normal fibre.:)
I had to pay £30 install fee for the 2tb SkyQ as I already have Q with a 1tb .0 -
So i had my first call from them, however the agent was only interested in giving me a £2 discount on my phone and fibre!
No extra TV discount as yet. 2 weeks till switch off0 -
So made the call as my discounts end 1st October.
So 1st call a waste of time can reduce my current projected new cost excluding discounts of £95.50 to £79
I am currently paying £56.50
Waited patiently to get to retentions/cancelations.
Told girl strung along for no good reason so she cut to the chase.
I have ended up with no changes to what I can actually view for £53 for 18 months. Discount applied for the full period. Stung for the £10 admin which I did not fight.
New breakdown copied from account below
To get lower than last year with added bonus of 18 months was a no brainer for me.
This in effect is a price of £41 a month for "the works" on Sky Q
She also gave me the number 0333 2022135 if I need to call back. Presumably a quicker route to retentions.

I'm having big issues with Sky. Just reached the 12 month point in my 18 month deal, and the price has rocketed and I can't seem to negotiate a good deal again.
I currently get Sports HD, Fibre internet, other HD Channels and Box sets for £50 a month, due to rise to £90.
The best I can currently haggle is Sky Sports HD & Internet for 18 months at £60, with no box sets.
What can I do? Can'f afford £90 per month until May 2019?!0 -

What can you do? Hope that Sky have a change of heart. This is what happens when you sign up to an 18 month contract where only the first 12 months are discounted. If you knew at the time that you couldn't pay the full price you should never have signed up I'm afraid.
I'm guessing the £60 offer ties you into a new contract?0 -
Hey there,
I understand what you're saying, but I didn't know it was only 12 months discounted sadly, but yes my fault.
The new £60 is indeed a new contract, and I don't think £60 is that good.0 -
Hi,
I am currently one month in to a 12 month 50% off deal.
I have just bought a new 4K TV and would like to upgrade to sky Q.
However i am being told Sky Q is a minimum 18 month contract.
Would this mean that when my current 50% deal runs out i am forced to pay full price sky for the remaining 6 months?
Has any negotiated a sky Q 12 month contract.
Thanks in advance0 -
I managed to get in the end a 2tb Sky Q on a 12 month contract with no install fee,but they we're going to charge me £30 for install originally.:) and that was coming from a 1tb Q box.0
