Whichever one I research has bad reviews so I asked a friend what she used and she said 3 mobile which had horror stories but shes very happy with it and no landline needed. Plus its cheap. But neither of us download much watch films or do gaming etc#39 - Save £12k in 20251 -
I'm currently on M350 + basic phone, currently on a £46 12 month contract expiring next month, I don't even need the phone, but it was cheaper to bundle than not when I last renewed, had a fair few tech issues over the last year as well.
Best they would offer was £52.50 (incl price increase), which I'm not willing to pay, will ring to cancel when I get down to 1 month left to run on the contract in a few days0 -
Just had my phone call from retentions. 100mb for £21 a month or 200mb for £26 a month. Went for the 100mb 👍🏼0

I'd probably take £21 if offered so Virgin if you're watching these thread give us a call!0 -
So my final offer of £27 for M100 was quite high then. Glad they disconnected my chat now before I could accept.0

. This bluff didn't work as they then told me I'd been offered £27.80/month (it was actually £27 I'd been offered but I thought "Why ask me?").
Anyhow, the then proceeded to offer me £25.80 but would then go up to £28.30 in March. I told them that was worse than the offer on Saturday!
Explained other people were getting £25 and under, also explained about al the problems I'd had in the last 12 months or so.
He said that was the final offer. I said "OK, put my 30 day cancellation in then as I've got other offers on the table ready".
Immediately came back offering £20.80 but with price increase in March to £23.30 (just 30p more than I'm paying now).
I accepted - let's hope it all goes through ok now .....3 -

Hi all, my elderly mum is shielding and has asked me to contact VM for her to add broadband on to her package so that she can video call us. She is currently paying £29 a month for Mix Tv and evening/weekend calls. I contacted Virgin and they said to add M100 broadband would increase her package price to £53 pcm. Does this sound a good deal? I’m reluctant to leave VM as she is worried about using a new service and also VM said could take time for others to install due to pandemic. Thanks, Claire0
