Has anyone had any good retention deals for just broadband only? I'm paying £34 per month but thinking of leaving if I don't get a cheaper offer0

On hotukdeals threads a price around £22 appears achievable for broadband only after you cancel and get a call back from outbound retentions.0 -

Retentions offered me £24.99/month for 50Mbps broadband and line rental after I gave notice of my cancellation - so I took it.0 -
Just got Talk Weekends, 350MB Broadband and Tv Mix package
£46pm..
Not sure if this is a good deal or not0 -

I need 350mb broadband but that’s it really
We don’t use the land line and we could get away with free view however Eurosport is nice to have0 -
Got another call back from the loyalty team and given that I've not arranged anything else I decided to agree to the latest deal.
Was offered
100Mb BB
Talk Anytime (unlimited)
TV Player
Premier sports
£53 a month but with a £50 credit so takes it down to around £49 a month. Was offered 50Mb BB for £52 per month but then he said he could do 100 for £1 more.
Was previously paying £40 for exactly the same.
Not a great deal but certainly much better than the earlier offers. I couldn't get it much cheaper anywhere else and that was with ADSL instead of decent fibre and would need new line installed and an aerial too. I keep telling myself we've had really good deals for a long time so eventually I was going to have to pay slightly more.....0 -

Sorry to say, that isn't a very good deal compared to what others have achieved, but if you are happy then that is all that matters.
This is an example of a new customer offer - £28 for 100mb, landline and weekend calls (£75 account credit too):

Admittedly not anytime calls, player tv or premier sport, but there will be deals round for them too. Our retention deal last month was £45 per month with £50 credit for Full House.
You can cancel again within the cooling off period - search hotukdeals for further examples of what others have achieved.0 -
