The euro is the official policy of the EU elite and is mandatory for new members.
Why join a club like that?
Why stay a member of a club that keeps the young unemployed when there is a ready remedy of disbanding the euro?
And I have frequently given Gordon Brown full credit for rejecting the majority opinion of the Uk great and good and most of the political parties plus several international bodies.
But not for us, I thought this referendum was about, what is good for GB ltd and its citizens? Why should we leave a club that has brought prosperity to our shores, and in which we retain special privileges? It is good to hear that Brexiteers are wishing to leave the EU for the good of the unemployed in Spain, portugal, Greece and Italy, most generous of spirit :T'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
A question for the Brexitiers from a mere Remainiac.
Exactly which British politician would you like to give more power to? They seem like an utter shower to me.0 -

I dont want to give more power to a politician, i want to give more power to me.
1 in 64 million is much better than 1 in 742 million.0 -

Frank Field.
He seems the least likely to go around kissing babies, and saying the "right thing" to hog all that media attention.
Look at how they all want to save the NHS. They can't even be honest and say it's unsustainable.
I suppose when Politics is presented as a consumer product you are going to end up with the stuff in the shiniest box presented by the smarmiest sales person.0 -
Or an elected second chamber or an elected Head of State or disestablishmentarianism come to that.
Prince Phillip felt the need to convert to CofE the day before he married HRH QEII. Could we cope with a Head of State that celebrated Christmas in January?
I was just thinking the other day, why is it antidisestablishmentarianism not antidisestablishmentism - could it just be an attempt to be the longest word in the dictionary?I think....0 -

The euro is an integral part of joing the EU as monetary and fiscal union are an integral part of 'ever closer union' which is what the EU stands for. Why would we want to be part of an organisation that is moving towards being a European State when we (I think the vast majority in the UK beyond a small proportion of europhiles) don't want to be part of such a state?
When the EU consists of three countries, the Uk, Denmark and The USE will it really be an organisation in which the wishes of the UK are considered? Surely it will be much more like the USSR where the big country calls the shots and the satellites do what they are told. And of course because the UK is ouside the Euro we have no veto over what the Euro countries decide to do so we can not stop them forming the USE.I think....0 -

I don't speak for brexiters but only myself.
well I guess you are a true Thatcherite being only concerned with your own self interests and not with your fellow human beings.
I do think that (fairly) free trade is a good thing and is generally mutually beneficial so I do think that aspect of the EU are a good thing.
The major change to the UK prosperity was the 80/90s period when the Trotskite unions were crushed and relative industrial peace was allowed to work its magic.
However my objection to the EU is mainly based on wanting a sovereign government that can control our own destiny without ever closer union with a failing EU.
However I do retain a moral compass, so I am concerned about the damage that the EU elite is knowingly inflicting on the people, for a purely political (unattainable) end.
Your mockery and disdain for the un-necessary suffering of the people of southern European states , does you no credit. I guess your mindless hatred of Thatcher will sustain you for a few more years yet.0 -

The disdain is for you, pretending that removing employment opportunities from workers in Southern europe is somehow for their own good.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
