Have noticed that they have estimated a reading for end Nov. which hasn't been used for anything -Wonder if that was an attempt to actually bill to 30th which failed ??0 -
My (leccy only) account is showing nearly £200 in credit WITHOUT charges for November. Suspect that there are going to be a lot of customers trying to cntact tem when they see their apparent credit balances!!0

Seriously, this is beyond a joke now. Yesterday my Gas account was showing my entire YEAR doubled up - massive debt. Today there are no charges on it at all - massive credit.
Can't even be bothered to d/l the bills anymore.0 -

That only really applies if the energy is being used for heating /hot water - in my case I don't use leccy for that,so the usage in kwh per month, hardly varies over the year. Effectively my apparent account credit is nearly 4 months worth.
I know why - but there will be many who will just glance at the bottom line of this latest "bill" - and pick up the phone, thinking "I'll have that credit back to help with Xmas!"0 -
How can a transaction recording/billing system degrade so much over 18 months?0

Some interesting facts in Iresa's latest accounts (as at 31 December 2016):
1. They were trading with equity of £128,914 compared to -£89,167 the previous year.
2. Average monthly staff including Directors was 18.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I’ve now finally been billed for October though still no charges or bill for November.
I already had the October charges prior to these billing problems occurring but no bill until now.0 -
STEER WELL CLEAR OF IRESA
We 'inherited' Iresa when we moved into the property and decided to give them a go because of the price. Apart from being cheap, there is nothing else positive to say. The customer service is absolutely appalling!
More than three months later, we are yet to receive a bill showing our correct gas/electricity usage and they have made a series of errors. You certainly do not get monthly bills as stated. Despite submitting monthly meter readings, they don't validate them. Then they say they don't have meter readings, then estimate their own readings - which are twice as high as reality! They have duplicated a charge on the gas account - and charged us twice as much. They still have the wrong moving in-date/ account start date. despite being asked to change it about 10 times! At first they kept quoting a 'previous discrepency' that occured 6 months before we even moved in - they wouldn't go into details but it seemed to be blamed for everything! I could go on....it's just been one problem after another! Very little of what they do (or don't do) makes any sense!
It also takes a long time to be given log in details for your online account - although when you do get access, it is not good as you can just see the error of all their ways!
They don't respond to phone calls, emails or online 'support tickets' either - just feels like you are banging your head against a brick wall. Oh and of course they don't have a proper complaints procedure!
Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!0
