A very polite, friendly, informed and helpful guy named Mubeen 'phoned me from E.ON this afternoon, discussed the detail of my changes in tariff and processed the whole thing in real time. In all, it took eight days in total from applying for the fix online at EHL The amended changes are already showing in my account online, the confirmation emails have arrived for the record and I've used the Direct Debit tool to adjust my monthly payments accordingly.
So, I'm a happy bunny and glad to be staying with E.ON (and you and Helena ! ) for another two years.
Please could you feed that back to E.ON and, in particular, recommend a corporate pat on the back for Mubeen. :T
You guys and E.ON's customer service generally are a major factor in why I choose to remain with E.ON, even if its tariffs and collective fixes aren't always the very cheapest offers on the market.
I hope those using iChoosr for their tariff switch will draw confidence from my own experience here (via EHL). All should be fine soon; it just takes time to process but E.ON gets it right and backdates the new tariff to the date you applied for it online.0 -

Also good to see you're happy with the Direct Debit Manager. It's a really useful online tool to help customers keep on top of their accounts. Have you tried the Real Time Billing tool as well? Pop in readings and you'll have the option of seeing the balance that would result or creating a bill to these readings. Another way to help keep track of how much energy is being used so no sudden shocks.

I've just emailed with a quick update gsmlnx. For the benefit of others, there was certainly a surge of applications on the last day the offer was open. We're talking to iChoosr now to match what we have with what they've sent. We fully expect this will be sorted soon and the details of those affected loaded as per previous collectives. I'm directly in touch with the team sorting this and they'll let me know once all is through. Probably looking at the next few days or early next week. I'll keep this thread updated so all affected have the latest picture.

As promised, a quick update. We've had system issues over the last couple of days and this has put everything back a bit. Once they're sorted, we'll continue uploading customers on to the iChoosr tariff.
