I also signed up to get ichooser result., but was only given the option of npower which was £9 cheaper than my current e-on deal but the e-on has exit fees so not worth it.
Does anyone have the rates for the e-on paper billing deal, for the North East region?
Morning FOREVER21.
Prices are available from iChoosr. As this is a collective deal, we won't become involved until customers sign up for the tariff. Neither will prices appear on our website.
Just a quick heads up on the exit fees on your current tariff. They don't apply when changing to another of our tariffs. They also don't apply when changing supplier if you're in the renewal window. This is open 49 calendar days before the tariff ends until 20 days after.
Hope this is of interest FOREVER21. Let me know if you need any more details as happy to help.

Morning misskelly972 and welcome to the Forums.
Sorry if you already know but, as this is a collective deal, you'll need to go through iChoosr for details and to apply. As above, we only become involved after customers have signed up. Similarly, apart from the terms and conditions, there'll be nothing on our website.
Sorry again if I'm trying to teach you how to suck eggs but hope it's of interest. Let me know if you need any further information as happy to help.

I switched from another Eon (online) tariff to the Eon iChoosr June 2016 collective and can confirm that my new tariff has put me automatically on to paperless billing with the £5 per fuel discount included.
I see that the Cheap Energy Club (CEC) is now showing this tariff on its comparison site, however the unit rates and standing charges for both electricity and gas shown by CEC are higher than those quoted by Eon in its welcome emails. Both sets of figures include VAT.
The upshot is that CEC shows an annual cost £37 more than my, or iChoosr calculations despite using the same consumption figures.
This is for Scottish Hydro Area, don't know if the same issue applies to other regions.0 -
Crazy, the E.ON tariff was cheaper for me than the N.Power one but I wasn't offered it because I'd selected online billing.
Changed my details to say I wasn't interested in online billing to get offered the E.ON deal. Which I've switched to (already with E.ON). And sounds like it will actually be £10 cheaper than advertised if I switch to paperless billing after the tariff change.
Oh - and anyone who has dismissed the offer, I think if you just email ichoosr they will send you a new link.0 -

I would suggest you contact the CEC and advise them of the alleged error. If the CEC find they have made an error, then this will be corrected, and then you will have the correct output from the CEC.0 -

Done.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I had supposed that posting the info. here would have been enough for CEC via MSE to be alerted.

Nice one Logen. As above, provided paperless billing is in place, you'll receive the relevant discount. You'll need to actually opt out for this to change. Thanks for confirming.

Take your point Shrimply. With collectives, our offers are based on set conditions. A condition of the E.ON iChoosr Dual Fuel offer is paper billing. Customers registering for online billing won't see this tariff unless they do as you and enter a preference for paper rather than online bills. As above, provided you opt back in to paperless billing, you'll receive the relevant discount.

Just to update. The "alleged error" has been corrected on the CEC comparison site.
It appears that 5% (VAT rate) had been added to the unit rates and standing charges on the premise that CEC/MSE/MSM were dealing with ex-VAT prices, when in fact the prices were VAT inclusive. So, in effect, VAT was added twice.

Given that energy prices now look set to rise, I'm wondering if it would make sense to switch to this iChoosr tariff (despite it being slightly more expensive than my existing E.On tariff) ) purely to extend my fix for a few months. I see the offer closes at midnight on June 28th, so I'll need to make my mind up very soon.Stompa0
